In all my years of being a Catholic I never thought during confession. I hear a Priest say have you tried the Hallow APP. I laugh because technology has caught up with the Catholicism the oldest religion on earth. They also have Adoration of 7am to 9pm. You do have to have a code to get in. The nuns there are so sweet and they will talk to you. A lady named Michelle on staff and Raquel there is so nice as well. Just a good group of people. They know how to run a church. It's further for me to drive. But I like a church where the clergy will talk to you. They truly care.

He seemed to focus on the LGBTQ community not getting into Heaven. He actually said "God said Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve". I've been going to Catholic Church for over 55 years and have NEVER heard of such judgement rhetoric! I won't be going back and I hope you won't support this Church as long as he is there. There is enough judgement in the World right now... I go to Church to get peace, love and acceptance.

What a breath of fresh air. The last Catholic church I went to is a very large church in Keller. While that church is large and beautiful, it lacks warmth. My favorite part of a Catholic mass is the "peace be with you" part. You can really get a feel for a church's soul at this time. There was true warmth from the other parishioners that shared this moment with me. After the Mass, as we gathered up our things (it was a cold night in FW), Father Jaison came by and spoke with. This furthered my appreciation of the smaller church. It's a warmth not experienced in larger churches. My only regret is that we do not live close enough to attend Mass here more often, but we most certainly try to visit again. Oh, a little about the church. It's very old. From the website: "The first Mass at St. Mary's was celebrated on May 4, 1909, in the small wooden building that constituted the first Church. After a fire destroyed that building in 1922, the present Church was constructed and the first Mass was celebrated on July 20, 1924. A jewel of Romanesque architecture, the new St. Mary's instantly became a prominent landmark on Magnolia Avenue and a center of worship, education and social activity for the near south side of Fort Worth. Initially, St. Mary's was under the care of priests of the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians). In 1928, the Order of St. Benedict (Benedictines) began a ministry that was to last for half a century. Their tenure saw the development of Laneri High School (now Cassata Learning Center) and St. Mary's School, both staffed by Benedictines. The current rectory was constructed during that time. Priests of the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) staffed the parish from 1978 until 1982. That year the Society of Mary (Marianists) assumed pastoral care of the parish." Bottom line: While the Fort Worth Cathedral (St. Patrick) is a short distance away, given the choice, I would much rather celebrate mass here at St. Mary's.

I've attended this church many times, and my experience has been consistent. The service usually…read morefeels more like a concert for the first half, followed by a sermon that heavily emphasizes tithing. Week after week, the main focus seems to be on giving money rather than exploring the full depth of the Bible's teachings. Of all the virtues Scripture highlights--love, mercy, forgiveness, justice, humility, faith--this church tends to return again and again to financial generosity. Even verses that have nothing to do with money, such as "storing treasures in heaven," are reframed as calls to tithe. That kind of interpretation is misleading, one-dimensional, and self serving. I attend church to be spiritually challenged and encouraged in my walk with God, but I often leave feeling like the central message is simply "give more." A church should cultivate growth in faith, character, and community--not reduce discipleship to weekly fundraising. Until the teaching broadens to reflect the richness of the gospel, I can't recommend this church to those seeking balanced, Christ-centered instruction.

It's hard to find non-denominational Christian churches in urban areas now a days that don't teach the "wrong" messages. Pastor Tim was very nice and took some time to pray for us afterwards. His message was exactly what we needed to hear as we make our way through our new business venture. We met a few people our age that invited us to bible study groups and out to brunch. We love small churches where we can help out and watch them blossom and grow. Will definitely come back! The church is the body of Christ, not a building. But if I'm reviewing the building, this is a…read morevery nice place to worship. The music is contemporary, but not too loud. The congregation is a very nice mix of nations and generations. The childcare is great. The special needs program is great....But... what really makes this a grat church is the fact that it's goal is to do what Christ commanded. This church tries to be the hands and feet of Jesus. There are elders in the church which is awesome. There is accountability in the church which is awesome. They also have Celebrate Recovery on Monday nights which also...is awesome! There are many ways to serve and many groups to be part of. Ive been a part of many different classes and courses through the church and haven't had to pay for anything but the materials (at cost), and even that would have been free if I couldn't have afforded it. Is there a perfect church? Absolutely not. But there are churches whose goal is to lead people to Christ and to disciple them, and this church is one of them. The gospel is preached here. It's not always a sermon to make you feel good, it's a sermon taught with God's word at the foundation.

St. Jude Catholic Church is located in Mansfield, TX, offering daily and weekly mass for the…read morecommunity in a wonderful and welcoming setting. They have ample parking in front and on the side of the church. There is currently a project where they are raising funds to build a bigger parking lot in the future and have already broken ground for it. On Saturdays, they celebrate mass at 5 pm, and at 7pm its in Spanish. On Sundays mass is offered at 730 and 10 am. There is also a mass on Sundays at 1130 with no music. At 1pm on Sundays, the mass is offered in Spanish as well. As for the daily mass, it's offered Monday through Saturday at 830am. They also broadcast the mass on the radio where you can tune into 104.1 FM. Inside the cathedral is very beautiful, with ample seating and lots of rows. They also have 2 big screens where they provide lyrics of songs and daily readings of the scriptures and prayers. The Deacon and Father are very easygoing, and the homily they provide each mass are great to listen to and provide instruction for a great daily living in faith. Outside of the church, there are many statues of Saints, and they also have a nice waterfall in front of the church to gather around and admire the natural beauty of this Holy place. St Jude Catholic Church is a great place to attend mass with your family while strengthening the Catholic community. After mass on Sundays, usually at the 10 am. mass, they have breakfast items for sale or donation such as breakfast pastrys, coffee, and BLT'S.
