You know that feeling of wondering, what if you buy from here then get buyers remorse if you find it cheaper elsewhere? Well, no need to worry because I think our intuition led us to this first stop for a reason. Majority of the items are 50% off. So many crystals, gemstones, jewelry, and minerals. We bought two hand full for about $64. The little pieces were a quarter after half off. Such a steal. They even write down the name of every single piece on the receipt. As our trip went on for the next 5 days, we've been to many other stores but this one was the cheapest in price, best in quality, and had a wide selection. Other places like the gift shops were overpriced.

The place is small but don't let that fool you because it was packed with showcases holding beautiful jewelry. We lucked out being the only people there and meeting Dan the owner and his friendly chihuahua dog Guido. We enjoyed fantastic service from Dan who was very passionate and knowledgeable about his business. Even though I have tiny wrists and fingers, Dan suggested bracelets and rings that could fit me. While we browsed over the vast array of jewelry (he also sells paintings, pottery, beaded belts, dolls, etc), Dan worked on sizing the pieces I picked out and within minutes had them done. The tourists season doesn't start until June and because he needed to make room for new inventory that comes from Indian reservations in states like New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona, Dan offered us some generous deals on prices. Dan not only provided good value but he provided excellent service and guarantees his items and that's what makes his shop successful!

Vintage clothing feels better made than the mass produced pieces in major retailers today, so I always feel better buying a well made vintage item knowing it has years of wear left and of course. You can definitely tell the owner is meticulous about the condition of the clothing which I really appreciate. The owner is great at sharing new pieces in the shop on instagram (@wilderbagco) when items are rotated. And she is on it, yall! I feel like she's posting new stuff everyday. You can even reserve or purchase a piece that catches your eye if you can't make it to the shop immediately. It's also nice to support a small local business who supports other small businesses and area entrepreneurs. This might be a little pricey for a thrift store, but this is a consignment shop and again they were like new. I will say that there were some items in the store that were very outdated and very worn and should've never been on the racks to begin with. Other than that I was glad to find a few items that were more on the youthful and trendier side. I think it's worth it to come here at least once and see what treasure you're able to find.
