Annie and Miss Betty were so wonderful to chat with, and the gentleman at Edelholz and the guys moving the antiques in were very nice, too! They were also having a rummage sale in what usually is the greenhouse (but is closed for the season) and my husband found a beer growler to add to his collection. It seems like they have a lot of stuff constantly coming in for the antiques section so it may be worth a second look. It's definitely worth a stop and is one of those places where you could spend either a few minutes (if you know what you're stopping for) or an hour or so (if you are just browsing)! All in all, I'd recommend stopping!

Owner lived in the Bronx where he founded this type of industry back in the 60s!! Now living in berks county this is most definitely the premiere spot for found objects! This is not for casual antique collectors. Items are expensive and authentic but definitely worth stopping by. He had an armored snow tank parked out front for a couple years that has now been moved to Adamstown.

I didn't find anything here on this trip but if you're in the area it's certainly worthwhile going to shop. There were plenty of interesting antiques. I especially liked the cookie jar collection. I had a wonderful time looking at yesteryear blow-molds, truly vintage Santa's, Milk Bottles, all of those incredible items. The store is large and extends pretty far back with an emphasis on a lot of glass, ceramics, crystal. There were wood items too that were quite rustic as well as some of the old fashioned jugs-crocks. To me, the prices were quite high. I'm sure there may be some bargains plus I'm certainly not an antique expert. The wade figurines offered by red rose were 3$ a piece but where I normally go, they are 1$- just one example. I would definitely go back and it was enjoyable seeing the history and walking down memory lane.

The items weren't unique, were overpriced, and as my girls said "had a funny (musty) smell". Most of the inventory consisted of glassware and dishes, although they did have some other items, but nothing worth a second glance. We weren't greeted upon entry and honestly I don't even recall seeing anyone working the counter. We were the only customers in the store.
