I took a chance. I took a chance that the person that sold me a mid-century, modern green velvet sofa was being upfront and honest with me I was rushed into my purchase being told that there were other offers pending and I needed to make a decision. I asked as many of the appropriate questions as possible to ensure I was not going to make a bad choice. Once the sofa arrived to me, I found it that it was in worse condition than I was informed by the seller. The one cushion he showed a picture of with a stain on it. When I asked him about it he said I could flip it over. When the cushion got to me and I flipped it over. There was an additional stain on the other side so in fact, I could not flip it over to hide the stain. there were more stains on the couch, then were mentioned in the sellers photos and description. Some stains on the lining under the cushion between the cushion and the wood frame that appeared to be blood. Incredibly disgusting. The couches a sectional so there's a centerpiece, the rounder edged piece. The leg of that piece was hanging on by a thread when it got to me so now I have to have that repaired. I was also assured by the seller that they had five star ratings but because it was being rushed, I didn't take the time to check. I just took their word for it. When I decided to change the black matting that goes between the floor and the inside of the couch I discovered a surprise thumb drive, which was interesting as well as photos of this individuals's child and name and school that they attend. Kind of gross and very interesting I might add. I would not recommend doing business with this business. They are deceptive, and do not provide appropriate information that is honest and truthful, they cannot be trusted. read more
