The lady kept the store open for my wife and I after being in there for hours so we could finish our hunts. This is a fabulous place! As the name states, inside is filled with lots of antiques from the US and many from Asia plus random odd ball stuff that you can't help but wonder, does anyone buy these items? Yes, they do! One person's oddity is another's treasure. The first floor has shelves loaded with dishes, glass wear and serving pieces. All arranged by color or designer or function. Clearly they care about how items are presented and it makes it so much easier for the customer. For example, there was an entire shelf filled with depression era green glass dishes and serving pieces. No need to hunt, it's right there for the taking. On this floor there are also lots of books, dvds and albums. Vintage clothing, some beau winter coats and jackets amongst the collection. If you, your man or child wants cowboy boots, there are dozens and dozens in every size! Wow! An amazing collection. A wall of wooden masks, beads you can scoop for $5 a bag, statues, knives, tools, paintings, toys, the list goes on and on! Downstairs is where they have the majority of furniture from near and far. Some truly beautiful carved wooden pieces and doors, just waiting for the right customer. Those working there were busy arranging items but always greeted me and offered help. There are several sections that you can tell are collections by individual sellers. Unlike some of the reviewers, I did not see the Nazi memorabilia and I'm glad I didn't. While we need to learn and understand history so we don't repeat it, I fear that some may collect this crap for the wrong reasons. Hopefully it was removed based on the feedback from those reviewers. If I had seen it, I would have gone straight to the owner or workers with my concerns since not all owners read Yelp reviews. Located right across the bridge from Hood River, there are plenty of parking spots out front. It's a fun place to stop, I needed an hour as there is so much to see that time goes fast. read more

Antiques & Oddities This is one of my favorite antique stores. Located in Bingen, Washington, Antiques & Oddities Has been around for more than 30 years. It is a large space full of many rooms, and there is a large downstairs too. Many of the antiques and oddities are from the owner, but there are also multiple spaces that are from individual vendors. One could easily spend all day looking through all the store has to offer. I have visited twice. Even though I didn't have a lot of time, both times I bought wonderful items for a fair price. The first time, I bought an antique plate from Austria for a friend. This trip, I bought two wonderful plates that I will use to serve cat food on, to my cats, Luca and Oliver. Highly Recommended!!! read more

My wife and I are pretty experienced at picking everything from yard sales to thrift shops to high end antiques. This place is a little bit of all of those mixed together. They have a huge amount and variety of stuff, including some incredible architectural salvage you don't find in typical antique stores. They have beads and jewelry from Africa, which is rare outside of high end boutiques in big tourist traps, without the high end prices. Like any curio and antique store some prices are higher than what you might find elsewhere, but this isn't current mass production items with general market values. Each item is unique and both buyer and seller have to reach agreement. We did find several things that we got a good price on. We would definitely recommend it and will return next time we are in the area. read more

I found this place to be incredibly neat and surprisingly big. There is a ton of Asian culture items, which were really neat. There were also a lot of other ethnic items such as tribal masks. There were several sections of stones under glass as well as more recent culture, tea sets, drums, clothing and a large selection of cowgirl/cowboy boots. There was a lot to see! read more

This place is actually pretty neat. It had a hodgepodge of things for sale, all at pretty reasonable prices. I was pretty bummed at the turquoise rings and other jewelry, mostly because absolutely nothing fit me. It was either too small or way too big. They had a blooming turquoise necklace for over $1,000 which.. well is a little much. Don't know who rolls through this small town with a grand to blow lol Cute spot though. This place was ok, and kind of strange. One side of the store was mostly reproduction Chinese furniture, plus a basement full of the same. Not my taste. The other side of the store was much more interesting - with your typical antique-type treasures at fair prices. We'd probably come back again in the future to see if the inventory changes much, as they did have a pretty big/wide selection. read more

Buyer beware! Prices in store may vary from the internet/ social media. I purchased a piece of furniture that was advertised in store for $450, only to later see it advertised couple of months earlier on Facebook for $375. "It has been reduced to..." If it had been reduced, then why didn't the in store price tag reflect that? I inquired with the owner Steve about this, feeling it was false advertisement. He justified my extra expense by saying since he gave me a "bargain" on the delivery for $100 off his service that basically I should just be happy and absorb the cost. Really?! Isn't that like a hidden fee? Plus you can't disguise inflated cost as a favor! Haha The price of an item and service fees are TWO separate issues. Overlapping them is messy business! read more

Im a bit miffed with this store! We give them our business on an average of twice a year and we come all the way from Oregon southwards. Twice I have requested a dealer call me about a certain piece of furniture . No call back the first time a year ago and when I inquired about it to the owner the other day he took my email address down and said he would talk to the dealer and find out the answer to my question and I have yet to hear back! Their stock has been running low and they have junkier stuff than even normal. It use to be fabulous and worth the hour + trip to go there but we are thinking we aren't returning at this point. read more

really neat place! lots of unique finds that aren't at every other antique store. good prices. the place is huge! the only caveat i have is with the person at the register. a family member was checking out and the employee was just not friendly nor very helpful. maybe she was having a bad day but how are we supposed to know what prices are when we don't work there?! highly recommended tho! read more

Went there for the 1st time yesterday. What an awesome place! Intended only to browse but found 3 things I love! It's huge, don't be fooled by the front, and it has something for almost everyone. I always like stopping in here. There's a wide collection of items available, large and small, in what could be considered three shops, each offering a different assortment of goods. Be sure to head downstairs to the basement, where you'll find a lot of furniture and unique and interesting items from overseas. read more

We purchased a pocket watch from this location as a gift for my father for his 60th birthday. When we sent the watch in to get it cleaned up the watchmaker told us it was a fake and worth less than 1/4 what we paid for it. When we told the shop about it he told us he didn't see what the difference was and that instead of refunding us he would give us a "good deal" on our next purchase there. Either they are scam artists or they don't know antiques well enough to run an antique shop. Be very cautious if you decide to shop here but you are probably safer just avoiding it all together. read more
