Give yourself time to browse here. Lots to look at with some great finds. We didn't buy anything. I am pretty picky & only buy things that I really want. But this place has a lot to offer. This store is so much bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. I found a sasquatch arm that is carved from cedar and Pops got a beautiful lacey doily. And we're going back to make stained glass windows! They have the glass and teach you to do it. A studio filled with glass. read more

Great selection of mid century things. We bought Halloween decorations to Tupperware serving set. Very personable cashier too

I go to this shop off and on. They are pretty decent I've bought some items from them several times. I collect midcentury and I see they are getting a lot more of it in which is great. However today I was there and I noticed in one of the booths table lamps with silver wire balls and a Sputnik hanging light all marked rare midcentury lights and the prices were crazy high. The table lamps are not midcentury they are from Value City and the hanging lamp from one of your local hardware stores. Lowes is my guess but by no means is it 1960s like it says it is. They should pull items like this that are being falsely advertised as antiques. Shame on them. read more

The real name seems to be Antiques on Beardsley This was my favorite stop on our antiquing trip. I have a huge crush on Antiques on Beardsley. There are many dealers so plan spending some time walking through. Furniture, knick-knacks, artwork, collectibles, stained glass--and reasonable prices to boot. My sister kept finding things and placing them on the front counter like she owned the place. The workers were friendly and didn't seem to mind. I hope to make a return trip in a month or two! Okay, I'm totally biased here. But I found dark burgundy Frye cowboy boots in great shape and already broken in here for $30--wouldn't you be biased? The rest is a big huge antiques-like barn in an old building with a huge vault in the front. Plus a stained-glass workshop. Rest of the antiques varied between yard-sale stuff and some gorgeous pieces, so the usual, but the Fryes... =) read more

my family & i have been to this store a handful of times every experience we had was ok but we visited recently & the lady at the front desk was very rude. she talks to costumers with disrespect & belittles them. also keep in mind it is so hot inside their store, they have fans almost in every corner but it's just blowing around hot stinky air. i will not come to this store again. read more

This is my *favorite* antique store in Michiana - great mix of furniture and smaller items, everything from mid-century to quite old. A great antique shopping day = Antiques on Beardsley, then 1/2 block to 820 Antiques, then 6 minute drive to "Hearts Desire" antiques (which is a true mixed bag of kitch - as the name suggests - and antiques. nice things, lots of stuff to sort through :) but i found some good stuff here. they have knick knacks and furniture :) i found a little closet booth with old cloths, hats and shoes from the 50's and onward. Some Evan Picone heels for little feet -5.5... but soooo cute!!! :) cool place to visit! read more

I love going to this place! The staff is lovely, from cheerful help to the occasional plate of free zucchini from the owner's garden! I frequently find items at a good price that I cannot resist! Very nice employees. Antique selection was okay, not great. Seemed to be more large items, not a lot is smalls. Seemed like a lot of newer Coca Cola collectibles. Took us maybe 20 minutes to walk through. read more

Loved this place! Clean, well organized, real antiques, great prices and great finds. The staff greeted us shortly upon entering the store. Very friendly help with not being pushy. Offered us free popcorn to eat as we strolled. We will definately be going back here! read more

Shipshewana flea market was awful so we decided to stop at a few antique stores in Elkhart on the way back home to Chicago. This was our first stop. Awesome store and nice staff! Fell in love with a vintage piece of furniture and I might have to go back for it. Decent prices too read more

Lots of things that will overwhelm you. Too many. I went in the middle of a sunny day and it seemed so dark inside because everything was stacked so high and the aisles seemed so narrow. I realize that vendors need to utilize every inch of space they have,but in doing so, they just made the place more foreboding. I'm not claustrophobic, but what I saw didn't prompt me to purchase anything. I just wanted to get out and back in the sunlight. read more
