It melted in my mouth almost like custard, in such a delicious way, and the flavor was perfect. WOW! The hot chocolate is also delicious, and frothed/served table side. Not too sweet. It was still their breakfast menu so we got mole enchiladas and some sort of enmolados with salsa verde. I preferred the latter, but it didn't have as much chicken on it as I'd like. I'd come back just for the sweet bread.

I prefer the green sauce from the chilaquiles. I also ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice and it was very good. I was able to order some conchas to go. Best idea ever. I will be back!

This building was probably a church or monestary back in the day. The menu is very extensive and they have all sorts of lunch and dinner platters. It is for sure a full service restaurant, and even all of the wait staff are dressed very professionally. I ordered one of my favorite meals called la gringa. It's not quite a taco, but rather a tortilla with pastor, cheese, and pineapple chunks. It was a little bit greasy, and probably filled with calories, but it's one of the best meals that I've had here. The restaurant is in itself interesting, and the food makes it even ten times better.

The portions are gigantic, and I honestly have not found a restaurant in the city that offers so much. I ordered three tacos de pollo and it was too much. We also got soup which I can't remember the name of. The ambiance was very nice as well, and they offered all of the most modern conveniences of an upscale restaurant. Our Server Ricardo was more than helpful in explaining some of the menu items that we couldn't understand. This restaurant is nowhere close to the central part of the city, but if you are down this way I would recommend giving it a try!

Drink options are majorly limited to a few beers - I opted for a michelada con corona. I had two tacos: one with cecina and one with maciza. I also ordered a tortilla soup. Tacos are around 30 pesos but are loaded with meat. Soup was 40 pesos. The soup was EXCELLENT. Possibly the best tortilla soup I've ever had. Just really flavorful and loaded with tortilla strips. Nice avocado as well. Tacos were good but certainly not the best I've had in CDMX. The tortillas were falling apart a bit and the meat was a little dry. Didn't love the salsas either. Totally edible but not sure what the hype is. Service was quick and attentive. Total bill was $145 MXN. Would come back for the soup alone.

We started with the Jarra de Café Arabe which was made just right. It reminded me of Lebanon and gave me that midday caffeine kick I needed. The Pan con Queso y Zaatar was surprisingly not authentic. It was essentially just cheese with dry zaatar on the side. I was expecting it to be baked with half Cheese and half Zaatar. They essentially gave us the zaatar to sprinkle on our own. The Pastel de Dátil was rich, naturally sweet from the dates, and a bit dense. I picked up on other spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom which gave it some warmth while the crust was more crunchy and nutty. Good try, overall!
