Fantastic find! I am a general contractor in the DFW area, but was in charge of remodeling my mother-in-laws house in NE San Antonio. I contacted Antonio to do some sheetrock repair to the house after we had some foundation leveling done. He not only ended up fixing the sheetrock cracks he also did the following projects for what ended up being a complete remodel. He was honest, dependable, on time and always gave me updates when requested. I visited San Antonio most weekends to do some work and Antonio's crew was always there working. I really appreicate Antonio's guidance on certain issues when they came up, like rotted sill plates after the bathrooms were demo'd. He not only informed me of what needed to be fixed, he also had a solution on how to get it done. He always presented the fix and price and got my feedback before proceeding. His crew was clean and dependable as well. There is no way I would have been able to manage the project from DFW without Antonio's presence. Although I handled some of the work myself, I beleive Antonio could have done the complete remodel with his guys alone. Projects Antonio did for the complete house remodel: Tile Floor Demo Full bathroom (cabinets, plumbing fixtures, flooring) demo Drywall repair in multiple rooms where there were large cracks completely re-texutred the entire house with a beautiful knock-down texture Remove the sheetrock from the garage walls Added Insulation to the garage walls Re-sheetrocked and textued the garage Re-framed the bathroom walls due to wood rot damage Installed custom tile surrounds in one bathroom with soap niche Installed full custom tile shower including new pan Framed in new water heater closet Installed new Luxury Vinly Plank flooring throughout home Installed shoe mold and baseboard where needed Painted entire interior of house, including kitchen cabinets, trim and fireplace Installed new interior door hardware Installed three sliding interior closet doors and hardware Again, it was a complete remodel. We completed the project in a little over 60 days from demo day to family moving in. It was a remarkable transformation! Maybe he is good at small projects, but I hired Antonio to remodel a small house and had nothing but headaches, and he abandoned the job. First, the quality of work is horrible and substandard, and his crew ruined Saltillo floors by painting walls without covering the floor. His workers didn't show up for two days in a row, and when I asked why he said "I got mad at them."He claims he made a mistake on our contract (which cost me an additional $4k) but did not deliver what was clearly in writing both in the contract and in text. Simply, he cannot be trusted. BUYER BEWARE, and don't pay up front!!! You will regret it. read more

I've been trying to remodel and take down old paneling for over a year. i started getting quotes last year to get the ball rolling. I used Angie's list to get someone well known in San Antonio. I came across Antonio first. He had good reviews and an Angie's' list star and reward. i spoke to him and got an estimate in August of 2011. I then got other quotes. Antonio was by far the most reasonable and affordable. Due to life occurrences the remodeling was delayed for over a year. I called Antonio One year later and he remembered me. i was so shocked. i asked him if he could re-quote me because i needed to add some things and minus somethings. He returned to re-quote on Friday. He gave me the Estimate on Monday and he started 830am on Wednesday. He has a a well seasoned crew that know what they are doing and are very professional. read more

Wow is all I can say about Antonio. Just an honest nice guy that works hard for his money. Antonio and his guys painted 4 rooms for me. Added crown molding to our game room. I don't understand why this part of the house did not have crown? Anyhow, they did a great job. They were in in out fast. His prices are middle of the road, not the cheapest and for sure not the most expensive. If you are looking for great quality and great price this is your guy. We hired Antonio Drywall Repair and Texture to do phase 2 of our project, which included removing the popcorn ceilings, retexture and paint. We also had him do the bathroom walls, which was to refloat, texture and paint. After looking at the bathroom walls the next morning we noticed all the imperfections that was supposed to be corrected but wasn't. We called Antonio and left a message the next morning as soon as we noticed it, and he hasn't returned our call. So, we hired another drywall and painter to come out to fix the issues. We hired Antonio to do phase 1 of 3 and he did okay on phase 1, so that is why we hired him to do phase 2. We will not be hiring him to do anymore work for us! It took a month from the time he looked at phase 2 of the project to finally give us a quote, after multiple inquiries through emails and text messages. It didn't seem like he wanted the job, and just rushed through it. They also left a mess on the driveway and side yard where they cleaned their equipment. read more

Very professional contractor. Antonio supervised my ceiling and wall repair even doing some of the work himself. The workmanship was excellent with attention to detail. Care was taken to protect my floors and furniture. I would definitely use Antonio again in fact I wouldn't use anyone else. Highly recommended. read more

I was notified by Spectrum that Antonio Drywall would be at my house 2/10/2018 @ 9:00am to repair damage caused when their technician fell through my ceiling. I received a text message from Antonio Drywall at 7:51am confirming the 9:00am appointment. I texted again at 10:06am asking for an eta. I did not receive a response, and now it is currently 12:05pm. Contacted the company to schedule an estimate/repair work... Guy canceled on me 45 minutes before we were supposed to meet. Usually not a big deal but had to take down lights and do a lot of coordinating to make sure I was available and there weren't any hazards in their way. Chose to find another company. Called and made appointment on a Tuesday for the following Saturday 7/26/14, no call no show. Called him the day after on Sunday and rescheduled for a Tuesday 7/29/14, said he lost my contact info from before and forgot. Tuesday another no call no show. Called him two times left messages, no return call. With service like this, you don't need even waste time on a unprofessional business like this. read more

I had Antonio come to my house to look at some work to be done a few weeks ago and I have yet to get a call back or estimate to do the work and he also wanted me to go buy the materials. Not to happy about this company. There are many other contractors out there who do want to work. I should not have to keep calling to pay someone to do a job. THAT'S YOUR JOB!! read more

I called the number provided to make an appointment. The mailbox was full. I went online to the website to contact them to schedule an appointment. He got back to me within a day. The appointment was made and set for a certain time and day. I made my schedule at work around it. Got home...thirty minutes later...no one showed. I called again. Mailbox still full. I texted. His response was " Do you want to reschedule for another day?" NO! Not with you ever! I could understand if he was considerate to call me to let me know if he was running behind. My time was completely wasted. I based calling this company off of the reviews I read. Sorry Antonio...first impressions are everything with me. You can't ever get my time back. Thanks for nothing. Antonio and crew did a great job on putting up a wall and drywall repair (and putting in a sliding glass door) for me last year. Biggest problem is that he is an unreliable communicator. Says he'll be there at a day and a time and doesn't show, doesn't call, doesn't respond to texts. Team was working in my attic shoring up rafters and one of the crew accidentally stepped on the drywall and made a hole. They repaired the hole and said they'd return the next day to sand and paint. They never showed and Antonio won't respond. My wife hung around waiting for 3 hours on his team. Antonio had been paid for the job prior to the discovery, so draw your own conclusions. On this project, he said he'd be there on a Saturday and never showed. Sent a text asking about it and he never responded. The following Monday I sent a text saying I needed to move on if he didn't want it, then he responded and came on Tuesday. Work is A1 if you can count on him.
