The work on their website is so stunning, I didn't think we could afford them! I was shocked when not only were their prices reasonable for the scope of work, they were actually the least expensive bid (by a lot)! We had our primary bath and closet painted, followed by wallpaper on one wall and the barrel ceiling as well as wallpaper in the powder room. The pictures don't do it justice. Not only did Juan and Marcos do an astonishing job of smoothing the walls (they were heavily textured), Juan was kind enough to match the paper for a trim ring going up with a new light fixture. The powder room was beautifully done and I can't find a seam anywhere! Our home was treated with respect, and is probably cleaner than when they started...lol! In regards to the painting, Eric was absolutely meticulous in his work. If you've ever painted on textured walls, you know how hard it is to cut in and achieve a straight line. He performed what is, by far, the best paint job I've ever seen. If you've made it this far, let me finish by saying that if you are looking for high quality work, you shouldn't consider anyone else. Horrible unsanitary substandard bathtub resurface by Mark Rios, the worst…read more Rio Refinishers of San Antonio, Texas, resurfaced the bathtub in my unit at Lincoln Village Apartments prior to move in. When I complained to management about the soft, rough, dirt-stained tub refinish, they sent the contractor, Mark Rios, owner, to take a look. Mr. Rios told me he had done the work himself and it is to Lincoln Village Apartments standards. The new finish is not an industry-standard hard coating, but some sort of soft paint like the latex on interior walls and trim. When I asked Mr. Rios what the tub is painted with he said he doesn't have to tell me. The paint is applied right over the dirt, and scrapes off with a fingernail. To see the job check out my little YouTube video titled, "Tub Refinish at Lincoln Village Apartments, San Antonio TX" When I moved into my unit in May 2016, leasing office manager Jessica told me the bad smell in the apartment was because tub was newly resurfaced. I was pleased to hear it, but not on seeing the job. So I offered Mr. Rios to pay him out of my own pocket to resurface the tub hygienically with an industry-standard, hard finish. He said he had to talk to management. I escorted him to the door to ask the permission but he never got back to me. And a few days later on June 10, 2016, I got a vaguely-worded, formal lease violation for "Disturbance." It took me 5 days to discover what that is for. Turns out the violation is for upsetting Mr. Rios. On June 15, 2016, property manager Carla Hinosoja told me via telephone that she had never seen Mark Rios so upset. I invited her to see my bathtub and she came and took photos. Turns out that out-of-town owner, Mr. Chaim Freeman, thought he was getting standard tub resurfaces and is deciding what to do about the situation. And management is working on getting me a standard, hygienic, hard tub resurface. At least they said so about 10 weeks ago. But nothing has so far been done, and neither Lincoln Village Management nor Mr. Rios has contacted me again. And the lease violation is still in place. Although a few weeks ago I asked that it be rescinded, letting them know I'd learned it's against the law to retaliate against a tenant for reporting a maintenance issue in good faith. A neighbor whose tub is similarly resurfaced by Mr. Rios, took scrapings of the paint and sent them to an independent lab for testing. Bacteria colonies are embedded in her bathtub refinish.

Triple R refinished and replaced my kitchen cabinets. They did an outstanding job refinishing…read moredamaged doors and baseboards and replaced some doors, and paint application is flawless with clean lines. I recommend. Details below. I used Yelp's Project feature to get quotes on this job. I called Triple R too asking for quote, and it took a few days for a return call. They visited to see potential job and quote, as did a couple of other companies populated by Yelp's Project feature. Triple R's price was competitive, and their service features, guarantee and availability was the reason I booked them. The process was explained at booking. The cabinet and drawer facings were removed. A few days later they provided a paint sample on a cabinet door so that I could see the true color of how the paint looks. I'm glad for the test because the colors were too light. We tried a darker shade, which took a few days to get, and that was much better. The kitchen is completely closed off for 3 days, and we were asked to pull out the oven away from the wall so they can spray paint. They put up a plastic shield, ceiling to floor, to spray paint boxes of the cabinets. The facings are done at the shop. We had no access to refrigerator, oven etc. Triple R's work also included installing new doors (included in quote) new knobs and handles (we provided), new soft close hinges (they provide) and new bumper pads (they provide). Overall job took 3 weeks. Most communication was by text. Triple R is a family business, so grace given that their Yelp profile is not robust (2 reviews). And grace given with black dust that is a residual effect of interior spray painting (no damage resulted, just had to thoroughly clean afterwards).
