A must-visit for photography enthusiasts with a penchant for old cameras and lenses!
Antonio Stasi has been here for as long as I can remember, and is a real fixture in Bergen. Antonio himself has managed to not just keep his store running but he always seems to have people in when I'm around.
I bought an old Nikon lens here two years ago and was in today to buy another one. I live in Scotland, which is generally cheaper than Norway (then again, so are MOST countries) but when I looked up the lens I was considering on Ebay, Antonio's price actually worked out as slightly cheaper than the same make and condition. Add in his friendly and professional service and the ability to test the lens in and around his shop, and it's a no-brainer!
I spent a good half hour in the shop chatting with Antonio and his buddy (a real, lovely character of a guy who was particularly interested in my Vibrams) and testing various lenses. He managed to get me hooked on a 200mm lens I'll have to get next time I'm in Bergen as well. You can be damned sure I'm coming back!
