The catering food was not pleasant and lacked flavor. For an event where students and families are paying a significant amount of money to attend, the food quality should be much better. Another major concern was that a wedding was taking place at the venue at the same time as my daughter's prom. Students were restricted from taking photos near certain statues and areas because of the wedding, even though wedding guests did not appear until the very end of the night and were primarily located in a separate room. It was frustrating to have photo opportunities limited throughout the evening for an event that was not actively using those spaces. If the venue cannot reasonably accommodate both events without impacting the prom experience, then they should not schedule a wedding and a prom at the same time. I've heard that other local schools have experienced similar issues at this venue. When students are paying hundreds of dollars to attend prom, they should have full access to the venue and photo opportunities without unnecessary restrictions. Lastly, the venue felt much smaller than expected for an event of this size. While Brigalias is visually appealing, the food quality, limited access due to another event, and lack of space made the overall experience less enjoyable than it should have been.

Holly took the time to assist me with planning a 90th birthday and was very patient with the fact that I lived in another state. They helped with easing the stress of planning an event as a whole, taking care of all the details for me! Food choices all tasted great and there was plenty to go around. The venue was decorated beautifully with just the right amount of décor and details. This venue was super clean inside and out! I could not have asked for better service considering the short time frame and last minute headcount. Great price for everything I got! The staff were all super friendly and attentive at all times. I rate them a 10 out of 10! Even when an unexpected incident occurred which was precipitated by one of the guests, Holly and her staff saved the day and were extremely professional and understanding! I am truly grateful and cannot thank them enough! I would highly recommend this venue! It is truly a treasure! Dylan customized our menu based on my family's preferences for fresh, clean naturally flavorful dishes and he delivered an epic 5-course dinner that tasted as incredible as it looked. Truly fine dining in the comfort of our Airbnb home. I also appreciated how laid back and flexible Dylan was the entire time - he's a true professional and rolled with the punches. His 2nd chef couldn't make it last minute but Dylan made sure this didn't affect our experience by shopping for half of his ingredients and swinging by to check out our kitchen the day before so that he could maximize his time the day of. The presentation of each course was also perfectly timed, allowing for room to breathe in between and each new course was brought to us hot and fresh off the stove. (Anyone who's hosted Thanksgiving dinner will know it's not easy to time the cooking of multiple dishes at once - I've tried and failed ). Additional bonuses that were meaningful to me: All produce was organic, and the seafood/meat was purchased fresh the day of from Whole Foods (tender grass fed rack of lamb, melt in your mouth sea bass, and truly the biggest scallops I've ever tasted). FYI Dylan is also fantastic with nosy kids who like to ask silly questions and/or get involved in the kitchen. Can't wait to taste his cooking again in the future!

I returned it to the store the day after Christmas the manager came to the desk was very rude laughed at me, turned around and told the guy give her a credit. Did not even try to make up for the fact that my entire Christmas dinner was ruined. One star is too many for this store. I've shopped there for years when they had their first bouts in Washington Township and that is how I got treated. They never called me even though the guy working at the courtesy counter said he would leave a note for the owners to call me with my phone number. No one ever called me. They don't even care what somebody went through and how their Christmas dinner was ruined. They are horrible.

It's certainly not as bad as the one review makes it out to be, but it isn't ideal. The regular/non-organic produce is much better at acme, as is the meat. But acme prices on everything else is much higher. Who wants to go to two food stores. So I assume people go to shoprite due to the price. The prepared foods are mediocre. The hot foods and salad bar look like a school cafeteria. But this is apparently good to many people, so it works. Shoprite does put a considerable of effort into stocking alternative diet food items, such as organic, gluten free, vegan etc. they've really come a long way in recent years, especially with having dedicated areas for it. I eat organic and gluten free. I can manage to eat solely gluten free shopping here, but could never sustain myself with their organic produce. It's atrocious. It's generally old/moldy. I'll even place something on a separate shelf if I find a moldy item (every trip so keep your eye out). If I had a web and in my backyard I'd shop there once a week, but I don't. So this will have to do. And it's just fine. FYI: Zallies shoprites have much better bakeries than Bottinos. No comparison.
