I had an extremely bad and frustrating experience with Antony's. My husband brought in two necklaces to be fixed. One, a simple fix to a chain, they fixed fine. The other, an "X" shape that needed re-soldering - they did an AWFUL job on. It was not the correct angle when they gave it back. We were told it was the son in the back who did the work. So, we gave it back to them and the woman (his mom?) brought it to him and he re-bent it... They gave it back, and it looked better.... or so I thought. We did not inspect it carefully enough, it was covered in black marks. Wasn't he looking at it under a microscope? Were his tools dirty? Who knows. Who gives back jewelry with black marks on it? It was unacceptable, so we brought it back for them to re-do it. This is time #3. I returned to pick up the jewelry about a week later. The necklace STILL had black crap on it!! I told the woman and she was trying to make excuses, "Oh, it might be shadows." Uh, no there is black crap on the X!!! AND, to top it off they re-did the whole thing - in SILVER instead of white gold. So my nice, original necklace that was $220 no longer existed and it was now a lesser value piece made of silver. UNBELIEVABLE. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

From the start Antony is very transparent with the pricing, which was something we welcomed given the run around we had with other jewelers. I think it's also important to note that although his shop isn't as glitzy and glamorous as the others in Owings Mills- the jewelry he creates certainly is. I was looking for a jeweler to look over my wedding ring, as I thought a stone was a little wobbly. As I looked at the different jewelers in reisterstown, I decided to visit Antony's based on prior yelp reviews. The location was easy to find in reisterstown road and plenty of parking. The customer service was stellar. I, unfortunately, did not get the name of the person that assisted me However, I do believe the shop is family owned, the husband, wife, and son work there (maybe?). The son took care of my ring while I waited. In the meantime, I had a lovely conversation with the wife and had a chance to look at some of their jewelry. They have a really nice selection, including some unique pieces that are a different from the mainstream pieces (which is what I love!) Highly recommend on all accounts. read more

BEST jeweler! Antony designed my engagement ring and worked with my fiancée to get the exact ring he wanted. His customer service is amazing and sized my ring within 45 minutes! Heard about their location from a friend and stopped in to make an inquiry about appraisal for some jewelry pieces. The store itself is beautiful, very well kept and has a wide selection of designer rings, watches, and fashion pieces. I was greeted and welcomes by the staff and felt very comfortable speaking with the owner, who was knowledgable and honest. I was able to sell back two pieces of jewelry very quickly at a way higher price than I originally expected! BEWARE! Fraud! Is it possible to give them a -5!? Brought in 5 pieces of jewelry for repair/alteration and NOTHING was right upon return. Was told by Antony himself that he would personally do my repairs and alterations. Not only did he not do it, but his son did a HORRIBLE and careless job! I spent over an hour there trying to have things fixed "on the spot" and left there completely unhappy and feeling 100% RIPPED OFF. They are very nice prior to taking your money and will promise you things that they won't do then come up with an excuse as to why it couldn't be done as promised. As a jeweler, you should know what is and is not feasible. Unprofessional is not even the word! Screaming in the back room and slamming doors, while he is in the back attempting to fix his sons incompetent work on my grandmothers precious jewelry. After trying to resolve my concerns via email and not getting any communication response, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. My dispute was granted and I am being refunded the full amount of over $300. Got 3 of my 5 pieces fixed for $20 elsewhere. Not sure how they sleep at night. read more

I used Antony Jewelers for different occasions. I got absolutely gorgeous tiger eye stone set designed by Antony Jewelers. I was complemented not once for the design and beauty of it. . But the most important I came to Antony Jewelers for old jewelry restoration I got from my grand parents. The pieces were damaged a lot (especially stones), some of them were missing. Antony Jewelers went above and beyond to restore my pieces. It took patience, time and professionalism to properly re-polish the stones and not to damage them. It took time and extra work to find garnet stones for the other piece with old style cut (from 1940s) to restore the piece. I appreciate enormously Antony Jewelers for the quality of work, professionalism, honesty and taste. Terrible experience. I went to Antony Jewelers to get a new bracelet shortened, everyone was very kind and accommodating at first when I dropped my bracelet off. I came to pick it up three days later, it was shorter but it was still a little longer than expected. The wife and son told me to just wear it around to see how I feel in it & they both assured me if I want to come back to get it shortened that I can do so. I came back two days later & expressed to the wife that my bracelet is too long. She was very understating & was about to write another ticket to get my bracelet shortened free of charge like she said. Her husband came from the back room & told me he wasn't going to do it free of charge. His wife then told him what she told me about coming back to get it fixed. He started to get very aggressive & upset calling my new bracelet "very old". The wife was telling the husband to go back in the room so he could calm down & he finally went in the back. She started to write up a ticket again to get my bracelet fixed but the husband came out again & started yelling at the both of us. I finally responded to him & we had a full blown argument. I took my long bracelet & left. I came back two hours later, had a talk with the wife, I said I'll be contacting the better business bureau & the arts attorney general to report this situation. On my way out of the store she offered me a refund. While she was processing the refund the husband came out again telling about there shouldn't be a refund. I ignored him, got my refund & left. This business would be great if the husband wasn't so short tempered & unprofessional. read more
