I am sure you won't remember me, however you saved my life 37 years ago, I was 26 years old at the…read moretime, with much life left to live. I had been told that I had a miscarriage, and had a D & C. Then on Saturday Dec 2, 1988 I fainted in the shower from the pain in my hip area. I had an ectopic pregnancy that had ruptured. I was literally bleeding out into my own belly. I went to then Crittenton via ambulance, and my doctor kept ordering tests that would take 24 to 48 hours for results. You and I both know I would have passed waiting for the results. My mom was a CCU nurse at the hospital and called Dr. Dan White who gave us your name and you were called, asked to come in. You didn't hesitate you came right in. Within 5 minutes of your arrival I was getting a blood transfusion and on my way to the OR, I had been there for over 8 hours when you arrived and in that kind of pain it felt like an eternity. I was weak from the pain and blood loss, and going downhill very fast. We had been through 5 years of infertility at that juncture, and this loss was heartbreaking, to make matters worse now I had blown up one of my tubes. Our chances of a little bundle were looking slim to none. Needless to say we felt hopeless. We did finally have our little miracle almost a year to the day later. He was and is the very best part of our lives. Thank you again, Dr. Wagner for saving my life, you did not have to come in on a Saturday in December to see someone that was not your patient. I don't have enough good things to say about you and the care you gave me. You saved my life! There is no higher praise, Thank you so very much again. Dr. Wagner IS THE VERY BEST!

I have been a RN for over 20 years. I have worked with top surgeons in Operating Rooms throughout…read morethe Midwest in areas like Detroit, South Bend, and Downtown Chicago. Dr. Wagner is one of those top surgeons. He is even more skilled than some of the surgeons I worked with at Northwestern in Chicago. To start, Not very many surgeons are experts in vaginal hysterectomy (surgeons are just not teaching that skill any longer which is unfortunate); however, I can tell you Dr. Wagner is. Long story short, I went in for my procedure on Wednesday, and was out Thursday morning. He put me on an innovative multimodal pain management regimen, which allowed me to avoid taking opioids throughout my entire surgery (except for the 200mcg of Fentanyl when I was asleep in the OR), and I remain opioid free 2 days out as I am writing this. I was able to be comfortable and clear headed without the opioids. Dr. Wagner "treats the site of pain" rather than using opioids to only "mask" the pain. In addition, Dr. Wagner's staff was expertly chosen. Jean (Office Manager) was instrumental behind the scenes orchestrating my office visits, and follow-up care. She interacted with me like a friend rather than a client. She listened, and was willing to hear what I needed. Jean and Dr. Wagner opened their office for me on Friday (when their office is usually closed) after hearing of my diagnosis and predicament. They followed-up with me on off-hours when I needed help. Dr. Wagner and Jean--thank you for listening to your patients. You truly live by the mantra "Patients First"!! Critteton Hospital is fortunate to have you on staff. Endlessly Grateful, Kim Stephens, RN, MSN, CNOR

This office is always on time too. Everyone is so kind here and the punctuality is impressive. And now they offer mammography here! What an amazing bonus! One stop shop. I love that I don't have to go to a separate imaging center. It was one of the best mammograms I've ever had. Very comfortable environment. I highly recommend coming here.

Gynecology wise - loved Dr Lefkowitz. 5 stars. Obstetrics…read morewise... RUN. It has been 14 months after my second baby with this OB group (should've learned after the first but was naive) and I cannot recommend them to anyone who wants a truly natural birth. To note, I know 2 other women who used them for their pregnancies and they both were pressured into inductions for EVERY pregnancy. First pregnancy in 2021/22: zero issues at all until 39 wk appt with "Dr" Foley and suddenly had a shockingly high BP per the MA (Foley (or the MA) did not take again), which I know can happen but I was feeling so good so was extra surprised. She comes in and tells me to go to ER right now with basically no explanation/etc. They had no idea of my birth plan (no one asked, I felt no need to discuss), which was no interventions/no meds/etc. So, sobbing HARD, drove myself to RO, very stressed. Was in triage for hours with zero high BPs despite massive stress. Labs/US were good. Dr. Wein... still tried to induce! We said no and asked to DC. Got commended by the triage nurse (which made us feel that it's common practice and most give in) and she recommended trying the birth center (which I had considered but as nervous so didn't even bring up to the Drs). So I brought up to Dr. Paladino at my f/u and she agreed and it happened and everything was beautiful. Got pregnant again and considered going a different route but really liked Dr. L so felt weird doing something different (and wanted to use insurance). So landed there again. Everything was fine until my 30 wk appt w/ Dr Ohm when I asked about the actual process of going to the birth center (since it was so sudden last time); I was aware of the requirements such as a low risk pregnancy. After that, supposedly my BPs were out of control and pre-eclampsia levels high. Which, again, I know can happen. But, my husband and I are PTs and are very confident in taking BPs and took my BP literally HUNDREDS of times in the subsequent wks at all times of day with multiple machines, manually and automatically, and not once got a reading remotely close. Labs were fine also (obviously agreed to them, which was fine). BPPs were fine - had one that the baby "failed" but was sent to triage for a repeat and she passed and hey, my BPs there were completely fine for those several hours. At my 39 wk appt, which I was forced again to see "Dr" Foley, obviously my BP was "high" and also no one could supposedly find the baby's HR on the NST til "Dr" came in and found it right away but supposedly there were decels so again, rudely and zero compassion, told me to go to triage. AND WOULDN'T YOU KNOW THAT HOURS OF MONITORING THERE SHOWED NO HIGH BPs OR DECELS OR ANY ISSUE. Despite feeling very confident in holding my ground, I ultimately fired this group and went under the care of the hospital OBs/midwives and still gave into induction (sadly). And wouldn't you know, not a single high BP or issue with the baby during the stupid induction process through delivery/postpartum/discharge. And by the way, somewhere around 36-37 wks at an appt with Dr. Paladino, when I told her I was considering going elsewhere after my last pregnancy experience, she told me good luck finding someone to take you at this point -- I did reach out to a midwife group and they were going to take me (but we didn't want to spend the money at that point since I had a million OOP appts by then since my appts were no longer covered by BCBS since they weren't routine and I had to have extra appts) and funny, since I ended up working with the "hospital group". I obviously am not an OB but after my last experience with them, I did SOOO much research about pregnancy/complications/etc (on top of understanding general medical stuff anyway due to having a DPT) so felt pretty confident in making decisions but still ended up with massive trauma. Please... do not use this group for OB services unless you don't care about induction and interventions.

I got extreme post-partum and they helped figuring out what medication I needed. Then I got divorced, my insurance changed. You let me pay cash and that went on for awhile. Then I get a call that said "sorry, we can't accept cash anymore so we can't make any more appointments for you. I was upset and said well how am I going to get my medications filled, the girl in the office said I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you. I asked if I could speak to the doctor that was seeing me and she said I'll let her know to give you a call. No call. I called again and left a voicemail. Nothing. No response. So I ran out of sertraline and had to just quit. I would think they would understand what that can do to someone. I was shocked that a doctor's office would do that. I don't need to let you know all the side effects I received as a result of that. They don't care about people, only about getting paid.
