I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find many cool things packed into this small store. When I entered the store, a friendly woman named Alma helped us. I tried on several pairs of cowboy boots and found a pair I really liked. Alma knew exactly which boots would be good for me, and the boots I chose were beautifully made and all hand stitched. The prices weren't bad considering the boots were all hand made and 100% leather inside and out with beautiful stitching. I like a square toed boot and these were perfect. I wore them for hours and they were so very comfortable. My boyfriend bought a black Stetson Cowboy Hat, and he found a really cool long sleeve western style shirt and a Bolo to go with it. We were going right to the party from there. Alma noticed that my brand new skirt was ripped across the middle bottom. She told me not to worry,she just so happened to have a needle and thread and sewed the rip in my skirt in 30 seconds. I've never seen someone sew a rip the way she did in one complete stitch. It was amazing, you couldn't even tell where the rip was. I was so grateful for her kindness and help. This isn't a very big place, it's more Mom and Pop,but they sell all kinds of leather and western wear. There is something for everyone including kids. I would definitely come back and buy another pair of boots, hat or belt. This store is in a strip mall located at the very end. There is free parking in the lot.

I work in Trenton, so after driving miles out of my way to get there, I found the shop not just closed, but shuttered, and it had obviously been that way for some time. I asked the people in the restaurant next door how long it had been closed, and they had no idea. I'm standing in front of an abandoned business, but as I looked at their website on my phone, it proudly stated that they were open for business until 6:30 this evening. Very frustrating!

Hopefully you're there for other reasons, so you can pick up what you need while you wait for that one employee with the key making skills to get to the hardware desk. But, if you just need some keys, and are local, definitely hit up Giaquintos; they provide that service, along with the shoe repair. There was no desperate use of the paging system to call an employee to the key cutting machine. The guy who looked kind of like the cobbler you'd conjure up in your head if asked to imagine one, just took my keys and headed to the machine, and in a moment or two was back at the counter with my duplicates. Fast, and cheap, too. If key cutting was their only service, they'd definitely get 5 stars. I have no idea how they do on shoe repair, but I'm going to give them a try soon!
