Not only was this comment extremely rude and unprofessional, but it has discouraged me from seeking guidance from a professional at all. I chose this psychologist because his biography said he specialized in so many areas that would fit my situation. Unfortunately, that is just not true. I am extremely offended and upset by my experience here and I will be seeking help elsewhere.

If it was out of their capabilities, I wish they tried referring me to a different location, helping me reach out to the actual help I needed. I felt so lost and stressed especially in the state I was in already. I felt threatened to have a session or not. Please, take the time to listen, be patient, understanding, responsive, and act with care as all these patients are going through tough times. Edit* After writing this review, I experienced an unsavory set of actions in order for me to take down this review, thus slowing my healing process. I have no doubt they have helped individuals before, but the unsavory actions indicate large red flags for this business. I advise caution. After every session, Katarina would just walk away like time was up that's it. I just felt like a stranger that she had to talk to for one hour and then that's it. Being a social worker, I felt it lacked the empathy and warmth. I've never felt as if she tried to understand me. I switched to my old psychologist and after just one session with him I felt hopeful. May as well just use a free, more highly specific resource. I was advised to take action that is opposite of that for dealing with someone with the issues presented and would've further antagonized an already dangerous situation. Presented with the caveat they really don't know. I am not paying to get advice from someone who doesn't know! I can get bad advice for free, on my own time and not have to drive! Maybe try online therapy that isn't as expensive and time consuming and offers more alternatives for your specific issue. Extremely disappointing. Do not recommend.

Chantix wasn't happening after I tried it the first time, gave me the most terrifying nightmares I had ever had, smoking was a better option. We set up an appointment and I think I chain smoked 3 or 4 cigarettes the morning that I first saw him, I was so nervous, but I think deep inside I knew I was ready. Regarding the session itself, all I can say is WOW, he is the real deal. This May I think it will be 3 years and I've never had one single cigarette. If you are skeptical about hypnosis, I for sure was as well. But Josh made me feel very comfortable and explained everything so it made sense. I wanted to write a review a while ago but it's not easy talking about your issues openly with…read morestrangers. This treatment was the only thing that has ever helped me. Years passed I tried all sorts of anti-depressants, some helped a bit for a short period, some made it worse. I grew up in violence, drugs and verbal abuse, this led to PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. The treatment worked, yes it cost more but the results are worth it. I did use my credit card and wish the insurance would see this as a treatment just as much as the anti-depressants they easily cover. I can't speak for some as I seen Anna had a loved one who relapsed or didn't take the treatments seriously. As for me this treatment stopped me from drinking, self medicating and fixed the problem in which was causing me to binge or run from my problems in the first place. The experience for me was about learning, growing and turning a new leaf. If you're going here not to change or not look for solutions, I find that it will be hard for anything to truly help you. You must work on yourself as well as use Medical treatment if you feel you need extra help. This doesn't mean refuse Counseling, outreach programs or whatever may help you with your recovery, whatever that maybe. As for the staff, they are wonderful and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. The whole place gives you the feeling that they are there to help you, offered Counselors if needed and Dr Patel is very thorough with his patients, talks you through the whole process and what to expect etc. Being honest is key to the success of this treatment and I can find no better place to go to than Midwest Ketamine Center. We are planning on moving out of state and I don't think I will be able to change clinics because of trust, I most likely will fly in for my 3-4 month Boosters I hope this review helped. Ketamine has had a dramatic impact on my life and the early results show it's much more successful than anti-depressants being used. Whatever helps you on your path to self healing is a positive. I came into the program with absolutely no hope for the future or idea of who I was, unable to function on a daily basis or even leave my bed. I was defeated, running out of options and hope that I could possibly feel even a tiny bit better. I had absolutely zero faith that Suncloud could change how I was feeling and how I had felt for 24 years of my life. On my first day, I was met with the warmest and most welcoming milieu of individuals, peers and staff, who were also working through their own personal battles. The community was a crucial, if not the most important, aspect of my time at Suncloud. I never once felt judged, instead encouraged, to be vulnerable, honest, and real with peers and staff. They have a rotating number of highly trained and educated staff who are attentive, intelligent, caring, and compassionate. Their staff go above and beyond to ensure community members are heard, seen, and constructively challenged. Programming is intensive and comprehensive, providing important insights from staff and peers. Facilitators and staff at Suncloud are constantly ensuring that everyone in the room feels heard, seen, and comfortable. We were encouraged to participate and apply the material to ourselves while also maintaining awareness for our peers processing as well. Vulnerability was wholeheartedly celebrated and accepted. While doing intensive and often draining work for majority of the day, there were also ample opportunities for recreational down time as well as aspects of programming like experiential cooking, walks, yoga (and Minnow!), weekend outings, and art therapy that allowed us to stay engaged while having a bit of a break. I cannot recommend this place enough. For that depressed, hopeless and lost person I thought I'd always be -- I am forever grateful that I don't feel like her anymore. I would not be where I am in my healing journey now without my time here. This all would not have been possible had I not came to Suncloud. We all grew together. Reason I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5: nurse Julie was an absolute nightmare. She was awful, old school, and had no right being a nurse in a mental health facility. The BHS's were amazing, except for Robin. She was okay but sometimes Robin didn't really pull her weight, and seemed uncomfortable with dealing with patients at times where it was necessary. The last reason is how the company treats the employees. When you live somewhere 24/7 and you see the same staff everyday, they don't need to tell you how stressed they are. You can see it. I don't know what they aren't doing for their employees, but it was noticeable at times. One staff member had a breakdown during work, another fell asleep in their chair during lunch. They should be treating their employees with the same mental health concerns as their patients, especially since employees of mental health facilities and rehabilitation centers sometimes are recovering themselves. Some other things I feel is necessary to mention: The courtyard in the pictures are unusable, the doors do not open. There is a large art area and bean bags along with more couches in the lounge. It would have been nice if they scheduled in an hour nap somewhere in the day. Sometimes if there was a nurse (Julie) they wouldn't necessarily let you skip a therapy group so you can nap unless you were doing really terrible like throwing up. We need to sleep to be able to heal. Oh and I almost forgot, Nikita. She was not very nice. She would take her stress out on patients. I'd rather her be a speaker and tell us of her life as opposed to her having Karen energy and starting fights with patients. Rena is awesome, David too and Fernanda. Kelly, the therapist NOT BHS, lacked empathy. Sometimes she was great, and other times she was not. She struggles with reading the room. She would say things and then everyone would roll their eyes. Jose is so cool like if Jose was working I knew I was going to have a great day I miss it here. I really do, despite all the things that made me choose 4 instead of 5 stars. The people, the friendships. I came out a different person, we all did.
