The building was quiet, I was temp checked by someone at the door and directed to the elevator. I easily found Quest on the second floor and walked in. They had a scan station for the QR Code they emailed me. I wanted for a minute or two and then Shauna came to get me. She was kind and calm and explained everything in a soft but knowing voice. She talked me through the prep work and gave clear instruction. She asked about me weekend and we giggled about something and then she's applying a bandage. It was over. Not pain, barely a pinch. She had me confirm my name on all of the vials and sent me off with "be safe" wishes. She was wonderful. I don't know if you can request technicians but I would absolutely see Shauna again. Update: went back again and saw Rosalind. She was punctual, kind, funny, and just as quick and gentle as Shauna. Thank you!

Horrible, horrible service at the LabCorp at 10600 Quivera in Overland Park, KS. Showed up for my…read more9:30 a.m. appointment this morning, and the waiting room was packed, no place to sit down, which is not a good sign. I registered at the kiosk, then stepped out into the hall, waiting for a text saying that I was next up. Received my text at 10:01 a.m., so not wonderful, but at least I was about to be seen . . . or so I thought. I started to get a little concerned about 30 minutes later, because my name hadn't been called . . . but hardly any one's name had been called, so maybe everyone was receiving as horrible service as me. I couldn't even go to the counter to ask the lady how much longer it would be because there was a line at the counter !!! Finally, at 10:50 a.m., I burrowed my way up the counter, and pointed out it was 10:50 a.m., and I arrived for my 9:30 a.m. appointment on time. She looked up my name and said she had called it twice, no one had come, so she had removed me. I was dumbfounded, of course, but shouldn't have been surprised. Bad on me, because I had been to this same location about a year ago, and remember getting bad service, then, too.

They just said to call my doctor, but as mentioned, my doctor didn't order the test and the bill is coming directly from LabCorp. This is the 2nd time this has happened since moving to Kansas--healthcare here is jacked up--it's like they charge extra services just to see if you are checking the details, and then test your determination as they send you in circles and make-up excuses without any resolution. According to the invoice, test were run at the Overland Park, KS location...although bill also lists a NC location for payments???

While the other location in KC my appointment was honored and respected. When I walked in you could tell people were irritable and the front desk lady was trying to explain that they are short staffed. The location is clean! That was the biggest positive. I did NOT authorize Any Lab Test Now to release my information to anyone but ME. From the minute I walked in I could see that neither of the staff (owners) had a clue what they were doing. From handling specimen cups without gloves to contaminating the "sterile environment " where tests are conducted by touching surfaces without gloves (or even washing their hands) it's obvious that neither has had any training, or they choose to ignore universal safety precautions. Either way, my test, my trust and my privacy were compromised. It should have been apparent when the owner (receptionist) didn't know if they offered the test i needed (or the price of the test so he made it up on the spot and charged my card twice) that i should have left then and there, but I thought I'd give them a shot. After researching the cost of the same test at other labs I found I was charged almost twice the average rate. Please be wary of any business/ medical provider/ lab that would sell your information... and especially one that charges you double to give it away FOR FREE.

The worst part is I wasn't even sure what I needed, I just had a bunch of paper work. Linda calmly went through the paper work, drew the blood (painlessly), and then spent the rest of the day working with me to figure out what needed to be sent where and who needed to be paid. I had forgotten one of my forms and had to scan it to her (didn't work very well but she MADE it work!). I can't say enough about the calm professionalism of Linda! What a wonderful experience!!

I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience from Cassidy, Macrina and Anjali. Mac drew my blood and was incredibly skilled at keeping me calm.
