The movers showed up high and used the entire time slot that was paid for to move one couch and unmount a tv, a two hour time slot was purchased. During the process of moving my couch they damaged two separate pieces, ruining the material on a $2k couch. After they stated that they'd mount the tv (which was included in the service) they left with the job unfinished, promising to return the next day to mount the tv. They never returned to mount the tv and then told me that a replacement kit can be ordered for the screws they misplaced when initially dismounting my tv to move. The level of unprofessionalism is unrivaled and the lack of responsibility and accountability is outrageous. Having to deal with a company like such while being 40 weeks pregnant has caused stress levels to rise to levels that it shouldn't be. You shouldn't have to ask movers, that you paid, to handle your items with care but I guess things are different in this day and age. I would not advised anyone to hire this company if they care about their personal items and if they do not want to be scammed. -------------------------------------------- How clueless can you be? You said that you kept in close contact with the movers but have no idea that the owner of the furniture (being myself) was present the entire time?! Why would I not be present when my belongings are being moved. I reported to your movers that they damaged a $2k couch and no accountability or responsibility was taken. We tried to get the movers to take it apart properly and they told us they knew what they were doing. They also asked my brother to assist them with unmounting one of my tv's when they were paid to do it themselves. He's in Gorgia & saw I wasn't when he took my address, he booked the service anyway just to scoop the deposit. He later pretended to release a refund but lied. I sent a text asking for the ETA and got no response. I waited another 10 minutes and called the alternative number which was a google voice line and a man picked up and stated that someone would be calling me soon with an ETA so once again i waited another 15 minutes. At 1:32 i called the number again, No answer so i texted again and still go no response! Now it's 2pm and i've called and texted numerous times with no response i was then blocked. I had my husband called from his phone and text and he was blocked immediately as well. I called customer service and they couldn't get in contact with them either so they refunded me completely. THANK GOD i didn't book directly through them!!! I waited for them for a total of TWO HOURS!!! I had a horrible experience recently with Anytime Anywhere Movers. I spoke with Dominic over the phone regarding my moving service. I explained that I only needed a dresser delivered to my new home and requested that the rest of my furniture be taken to a nearby Goodwill donation center. I already knew there was a Goodwill less than 3 miles from my residence, so I asked if we could plan for those unwanted items to be dropped off there first. Dominic agree to that plan. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 9:00 -10:00 AM the following day but didn't show up until after 10:00 AM. When I spoke with the driver upon arrival, he seemed unaware of the drop-off plan. He asked how far my new home was, so I pulled it up on GPS, which showed it was 24 miles away with an estimated drive time of 37 minutes. I specifically instructed him to avoid the highway and instead take the back roads through Hampton, GA, which would lead directly to McDonough, GA, without needing to get on the interstate. The truck was loaded in under an hour, and I paid $350 for what was quoted as a 2-hour service. However, after the move, I noticed that my invoice had increased from $450 to $711. I immediately called to understand the charges and was told that the driver had bypassed the Goodwill donation center near my home and instead searched for another location near the final drop-off point. This decision resulted in additional mileage and an extra hour of service, adding $125 to my bill. This was not the agreed-upon plan, and my instructions were clearly not followed. Furthermore, the driver disregarded my request to avoid the highway and took it anyway. I believe the longer route and additional stops unnecessarily extended the service time and cost. Finally, I was also charged a stair fee that I had previously been told by Domonic in a call that it would be waived, but it still appeared on the final invoice. I would NOT recommend this company! W A R N I N G!!! BEWARE OF ANYTIME/ANYWHERE MOVERS!!! If I had to choose one word for what we experienced working with ANYTIME/ANYWHERE Moving Company, it would be PREPOSTEROUS!!! My daughter had a 12:00pm scheduled appointment for the movers to meet us at a storage unit in Covington, GA to load those items in the storage onto the truck that my daughter reserved and rented that was already in our possession. As we were taking possession of the rental truck, my daughter got a text asking if they could reschedule until tomorrow because they were running late. My daughter responded no and explained that she had to have her things moved out of storage that day and out of her apartment in Jonesboro, GA., by that morning because we (my husband, friend and myself) had to get back to NC for work on Monday, as we had driven to GA that morning to help. They STOPPED answering the phone as well as stopped responding to texts to see what time they were coming...we were left to load the truck ourselves!! We drive to my daughters' house, which is an hour away, and continued to wait. Periodically, my daughter would text and ask when we should expect them; she didn't hear from them again until 5:30!! By now, it's getting dark, and we finally receive a text that said headed to you, be there in 1 hour, but as time passed, we wondered what's taking so much longer than an hour. Then she got a call saying that they were at the STORAGE (again, an hour away)!!! My daughter was texting them all day giving them specific information regarding the fact that we had already been to the storage, unloaded it, and drove home...waiting on them!! This is INCOMPETENCY at its best!! So, why did they go there, simply to waste more time! So, we continue to wait and that turned into another 1 1/2-hour drive from Covington to Jonesboro, before they arrived at my daughters' house at 9:30!!!!! The movers arrived in a rental truck!! WHYYYYYYY!!! When WE already had a rental truck! Like...did NOBODY read my daughters texts or listen to her messages, ummmm she said all of this!!! One of the movers was annoyed that we were annoyed with them because we started stressing how we felt about waiting ALL DAY and ALL evening for them and he starts cussing at me telling me "F" it!! That I can move all this SHIT myself! They kept stating that they all are tired!! (LIKE WE WEREN'T)! One of the other movers mentioned that they have been moving people all day, and that they were right down the street from us around 1:00pm, but their manager, John told them to go to other locations; meanwhile we sat and waited, and they saw nothing wrong with that cause we certainly didn't receive an apology!! That back and forth went on for a while, and at 10:00pm, they started moving items out the house in stages, blocking the stairs making it impossible for a smooth move and wasting time which would of course increase the fee. They were taking one item (like a lightweight lamp) at a time, and this went on for hours even though there were 3 movers! Now, it's around 1:00am, the manager, JOHN and another mover (which happens to be the same mover who helped move her in 10months prior, with a completely different crew and much better experience, thus why she chose them again) showed up. At this moment, the movers had just loaded her sofa onto the truck at an angle that simply did NOT make sense and I was saying as the manager, John walked up that they would have to rearrange that because the truck door was not going to close and that its taking up too much space and everything in the apartment needed to be on the truck!! He's going to get smart with me asking me if I want to show them how to load the truck or was I going to let them do their job. I responded that I have been showing the movers all night as I had to suggest how to get several things out of the bedrooms and the front door as they struggled, or as we know it now, they were all simply wasting time!! The manager had an attitude and started fussing at the movers who were already there. I overheard him tell the movers to fix the sofa and get the items off the grass area and whatever is left (referring to the MANY items in the hallway downstairs), to not worry about it!! He was startled when I said I heard what you said, you're not leaving anything, and he told me he didn't even know who I was, so he didn't HAVE to talk to me!! You give specific instructions on what you want to book, and then Jon disregards that, practices predatory pricing, and gives you the worst deal possible. My roommate and i booked a move as one. They didn't explain the pricing properly but sent over an invoice. Though we were doing one move, we were under the impression that we both had to pay a deposit since it was two addresses. I sent over my deposit which was later not even applied to the cost of the over all move. He kept my deposit and then didn't even explain i never needed to send one. He then called it one move and charged us double for everything. He sent over an almost $800 invoice due TWO HOURS before the move was completed, and my roommate and i tried to explain that 1) pricing should have been discussed BEFORE the date of expected payment, 2) you cant add on random additional fees and not explain why. What if we simply did not have that money? We can't get our stuff off the truck because you wanted to send over a sane-day invoice for $800? We then sent an actual breakdown of what our payments should've been, and when we started making too much sense, he said he didn't want to go back and forth. He told the movers not to unload our truck until we paid, and then held us accountable for "holding up" his movers. He explained pricing that the movers expressed they had NEVER heard him try to do before. He thought he could make extra money off of two girls, and made our move a nightmare. Maybe as a man, you might recurve a morsel of respect, but this is BY FAR the worst experience with a moving company i've ever had.
