My wife and I were looking for a gym in the area because we wanted to make a change in our health. Anytime Fitness in Coldwater was recommended by a friend of mine at work. My wife and I met with the new owner and began with a 21 day trial. My past experiences at the gym were not great. Usually there are people there who are just meat heads and the "gymtimidation" is high. I also felt I lacked the confidence to know what the heck I was doing and I had not seen results in the past. So, here I was putting myself out there at the gym and what did I find? I found a family that wants the best for me. I found encouragement and accountability when I miss a gym time. I found friends at our team workouts who make the experience all that more rewarding. I found a coach and staff who are friendly and approachable for any question you may have. This gym is what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. When I signed up, I talked with Andrew. He is very friendly and so welcoming. He has become one of my favorite people. The gym is clean and all of the equipment is nice and up to date. Group training is my favorite part about this gym. Trainer Mike Has one of those attitudes that is always positive. He frequently has a smile on his face and you can tell he enjoys his job! He has an awesome sense of humor, he's caring and supportive. He makes me work hard and is always challenging me. He's everything you want your trainer to be. Trainer Ashely Is enthusiastic, motivating and knowledgeable about all things fitness. Ashley motivates me every day and really knows how to deliver a challenging workout. These two trainers are very experienced and committed. They know how to make exercise fun. I have been an anytime fitness member now for almost 3 months and have fallen in love with this facility, and dare I say, fitness family. There is a sense of community within this gym that I typically stray from but found to be both refreshing and re-enforcing. It is the owners and the trainers that really help keep you on track and your fellow members who you find both your competitive partners and someone you cheer mentally. Their heart rate program helps you keep track of your workout and how hard you are working and helps keep the spirit of competitiveness alive. This place has become one of my favorite places to be. I never thought I would ever say that. The atmosphere is just that FUN. The trainers are amazing and REALLY care about you.
