But now, it's different. I do love the staff at this location -- they're great, and I know this isn't in their control. But they took away all the hand sanitizers and then the paper towels. These little wipes they provide to clean the machines? They don't cut it and probably cost more! I don't like using a personal towel because you have to set it on the floor or dirty equipment -- and I'm not putting that in my face. Let's talk about the machines. The smith machines are facing out by the mirror, and other machines face each other, which makes workouts awkward and cramped. While I was deadlifting on cables, a lady tried to do dips right behind me, and it felt like my behind was in her face. Plus, some machines are always "sick" -- like all the leg extensions were down one day. Bottom line: I still go here because it's the most convenient, but if another gym opened, I'd switch in a heartbeat.

I literally left my ring on the gym floor today because I took it off due to trying to do pull ups. It was a silver piece I bought in Greece, and I got so nervous that I wouldn't be able to find it. However, when I returned to the gym, someone had already given it to the front desk about it and they had it there waiting for me! I have also literally never felt uncomfortable working out there, and I am a woman that likes to lift weights and sometimes wears more revealing clothing, so ... that's a really good thing. Machines/Workout Review: Also, they have every machine you could dream of. Seriously. Even at 5pm, peak busy times, I can always find the machine I need. MAYBE I have to wait for ONE person, but even if I have to wait, there's usually another machine that works on the same muscle. I have left this gym to do group classes and other stuff because sometimes it's nice to be motivated by a group, but to be completely honest? If you know what you're doing and you're consistent, this place is the best! I also noticed they changed where the personal training section is located, which was a great decision. I now actually use the upper body machines and they were quite useful. I'm glad they're no longer stuffed away in a corner. Negatives: My ONLY complaints are the hours on weekends and space for more unique workouts. I personally feel that 7pm closing is a little too early for the night owls on the weekends! Why are you assuming that I have weekend plans... I have frequently worked out right until closing on Friday and Saturday. Additionally, I am trying to get into calisthenics and I feel like they just don't have a lot of materials to let me do more interesting workouts. I would really appreciate a kicking bag and some additional bars for practicing l-sits and what not. I'm not taking off stars though because I feel like for the price of the gym, it's worth it. It's also not the most social space, but again, people don't really come here to make friends.

I went around 5pm on a Wednesday and although it was peak gym hours, the facility was packed with members but didn't feel crowded at all. Initially, the team member at the desk did not ask me if I needed help so I had to stand around for a bit. She seemed new and unsure what to do with someone like myself, looking to try a new gym and just wanting more info. Eventually another, more experienced team member gave me tour of the facility and I loved all the areas available to workout, the sauna, the recovery area, and how clean the entire gym was. As packed as the gym was, she also greeted multiple members by name, which I thought was really nice. Butttt she never communicated that when I was asking to cancel- just kept seeing if I would stay. The workouts were fine, nothing better than Ive done at Body Precepts or local fitbash, or HIT events. There word choice for motivation is lacking as well.
