Although he was a pleasant fellow, he said he's sorry; he wants to make everyone happy, but they build houses, not doors with stairs and didn't have time to take on my job. I don't have a problem with being busy or only talking on big jobs. However, to make an appt and have someone wait, not show up and then say sorry we can't do your job is bad a business practice. Please be honest and don't waste people's time if you feel the job won't bring in the revenue you require. Our time is important too.

The move coordinator was a 'stand out', she continually offered compassion and interest in our expectations. The moving crews (packing, loading, delivering) were all great. We were fortunate to have the same driver for our pick up as well as delivery. My only concern was the cleanliness of the truck and packing blankets. Additionally would have liked for them to be prepared to cover our flooring on both ends. To the drivers defense, he did tell us it was not his usual truck. The OPS manager at the origin was very involved and we apopreciated his quick response to our concerns throughout the process. Again, all the individuals we came in contact with were really terrific. Sub contractor bad mouthed the owner all day. They planted things in full sun designed to go in partial shade, didn't put enough mulch in to cover the ground, etc.... Now two months later I have $600 in dead trees, certified Arborists saying those trees don't do well in our climate/soil and a company who won't back their work. Spend your money elsewhere.

When I had decided to move back to Austin, TX, I had scheduled another moving company from Austin to do my move. They were no shows. It was a horrible situation. I contacted Ace and spoke with Dave to see if they did cross-state moves. Fortunately, they did. Dave had a small delivery to do in Austin, but it wasn't large enough to warrant the trip. My move was a win-win for both of us and he gave me a terrific deal. He had a truck and a bunch of terrific helpers at my home within 24 hours. They neatly packed my belongings and were in Austin the next day to deliver them. I will never forget how wonderful and kind this company was to me when I was in a bind. I have since moved locally around Austin twice, and texted Dave first just to see if he planned on being in the area. I would give this company 20 stars if I could.
