I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of communication, expectation for me to eat costs after agreeing to an increase in price twice (I didn't argue.), this is negatively impacting my income, and I still have no roof installed. I signed a contract for a roof replacement on 3/25. Since then there have been two additional cost increases to the contract due to missing materials, and incorrect measurement of the size of the roof. Multiple specific requests to be notified of when the install date is have gone unanswered. I work from home and will be unable to schedule clients for that date, so need to know in advance. I have been incredibly clear that this is important and I need a specific date. Yesterday I was informed the roof above the front door could not be installed because of the condition under the metal roof. This may void my homeowners insurance for future claims on that section of the roof and is not at all what was agreed on in the contract. They offered to repair the metal roof flashing, and leave the hail damaged metal. Additionally I was told that I would not be receiving a refund on the materials for this portion of the project because the company has had to "eat costs" on my project. Still don't have confirmation on an install date other than "Maybe Monday or Tuesday."

The invoice was higher than the quote. When I asked why, they said they had to replace a rotten piece of roof decking. When I asked how there could be a rotten roof decking sheet under a new roof they had no answer for me. Either my new 50 year warranty roof is leaking or they put shingles over rotten decking to begin with. Best part... they keep telling me they'll come out and see what the problem is but they don't.
