Pizza was awful. Had no taste. Dry, over cooked, and the sauce was disgusting. The only positive is they delivered for free and the fried mushrooms were pretty good. Don't waste your time eating this tasteless and dry, over cooked pizza. read more

They make their own bread, I swear you just carbload when you start tasting it. It's so delicious. With our soup we got carrot bread and poppyseed bread, both unique and perfectly fresh and crunchy. The soups are delish, one soup of the day - no fuzz around them, just vegetable but holy shot, so yummy. The one I had was spicy and very peppery, great taste. For mains on the lunch menu (very seasonal) they only offer a few choices, speciality is fish in that restaurant so I suggest trying it too. I had smoked and fresh salmon pasta with a creamy sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the salmon was too,. Couldn't leave anything behind on the plate even though I stuffed myself already with the bread... No space for desert but what we had where matcha lattes - you can choose between vanilla and coconut. Healthy and yummy at the same time. Great restaurant all together, must try for everyone when you are in town.

When I first asked if I could have no vegan cheese, the waiter responded that it would not be possible to do that because the quesadillas would not stick together. Understandingly, I got it with vegan cheese. But, when my meal came out, the cheese was unmelted, the rice was in the shape of a plastic container (it had clearly been microwaved and slapped on the plate), and my salad had wilted, brown lettuce. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, especially considering how much my meal costed.

The bar area was filled being Friday night and the restaurant was just starting to get busy. I arrived barely in time for the early bird special. I highly recommend it - the typical entrees were 25 -27 Euros, but the early bird provided 3 courses for 22 Euros. Course 1 was the seafood cakes...it came with a little salad and two balls that looked like hush puppies. They tasted like mashed potatos, but was edible. Course 2 was a beef & Guinness casserole. The beef was excellent and the sauce was rich. I couldn't eat even half of it, but it was good. Course 3 was a rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream YUM! I hadn't really had rhubarb before I will have it again! My friend ordered the ceasar salad, a baked filet of salmon and the lemon cheesecake. The cheesecake was just okay; it had an odd gelatin top to it. The service was prompt until the end. It was a long wait for the check and actually I had to go up and request it. The waitress was gorgeous, so that made up for some of the slowness :) If you are in the hotel and looking for someplace to eat, give the hotel's restaurant a try.

Service was a little slow but really polite, and every bite of food that came out of the kitchen and every cocktail from the bar was fantastic. One cocktail even came with a prosecco shot on the side too. I was happy to find a brew pub that had their own beers as I was missing home a bit at this point in our trip. The beer was good, but I don't remember any stand outs. Also the waitress didn't say which was which in the flight I got, so that may have led to my confusion, but I don't think the waitress was of drinking age so we didn't think the omission was on purpose.

So we found another place right next to it that was also Italian coincidentally. Three of us ordered pizza which were thin and crispy nothing incredible but very good pizza none the less. The pizzas were very large and for the price I was very happy with what we got. My mother ordered the risotto which I did not taste but she told me it was delicious. It looked very appealing and seemed creamy which is a must for a good risotto. Lastly my sister ordered the penne and chicken which I did taste. It came with a cream sauce that was well spiced and once again was a great dish. All in all, this place may not be anything spectacular but it offered great tasting and filling food at a very reasonable price. It is for sure not the best Italian I've ever tasted but I really enjoyed it and would go back.
