We took the 2 hour tour and had Smokey for our tour guide!! Talk about a gentleman who was packed full of knowledge that he shared with us!! I would definitely recommend this tour and would definitely ask for Smokey!! As an added bonus, Smokey looks a lot like Theodore Roosevelt!!! BULLY PULPIT!!!!

What an experience. Our tour guide Sandman had so much info about the area. We took an 5&8 year olds and they absolutely loved Sandman. You won't be disappointed in the 2 hour tour.

Had a great time!!! Our tour guide Sandman was awesome! He was so knowledgeable, it was cool seeing a jackrabbit and some deer on the tour.

Amazing! The people make this place the best! They're so fun, kind, knowledgeable! We took a one hour tour with one of the best guides ever! Fantastic storytelling of local folklore, super knowledgeable about local desert scape, plant and wildlife! If you're looking for the best day ever, visit Goldfield Ghost Town, and schedule a tour with Apache Trail tours!

Great tour by the SandMan. Took us to places we never even thought were here and we live locally. We brought out of town friends on the tour. They had a blast!.

They do a terrific job. Did two, 2-hour tours, one with my work team and one with my husband and a good friend. Both guides were terrific with wonderful views of this rugged area.

Wonderful western lore stories told set against this desert landscape

Wonderful!!!! Group of 7 (4 teens and 3 adults) on a two hour tour lead by "Sandman". He made the tour so informative, entertaining and just the right amount of adrenaline. Master of "dad jokes". Highly recommend.

Had a great tour with "Lobo" to explore our new area. He is a resident and lives on Superstition mountain and was a wealth of knowledge about Saguaro cactus and animals in the area. The ride was comfortable but if you get carsick, take some pills beforehand because the road has a lot of switchbacks. Take lots of pictures, the scenery is awesome!

We were looking for an adventure for our visit to the area and came across your tour. We had a blast learning about the area and the cactus and wildlife in the area. Smokey was our tour guide and was entertained our group.

Our guide, Boots, was friendly and knowledgeable. She maneuvered the terrain expertly and made for a very comfortable 1 hour ride and experience my whole family enjoyed. (2 adults, 12 yr old and 6 yr old) Dress warm and enjoy!! My only complaint is that is was FREEZING. We were visiting from Chicago and ignorant to how cold it is in the desert in the mornings, we foolishly under-dressed. It would have been great if blankets were offered, even for purchase. Besides chattering teeth, the tour was awesome!

Superstitious Mountain as seen from trail

Had an absolute great experience exploring the back country at Apache Junction. "Sandman" our driver was capable, courteous and so full of great stories and info about the West.

The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, and the whole experience felt so peaceful. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I loved it so much that I'm already planning to bring my mom and aunts when they visit in September. If you have binoculars, definitely bring them! You'll be able to spot the bighorn sheep along the cliffs better! After the cruise, I'd recommend grabbing lunch at the Tortilla Flat Saloon and taking a drive along the Apache Trail. Just know that part of the trail is unpaved with switchbacks and steep grades, so take your time and make sure you're comfortable driving those kinds of roads. It's a really unique experience with incredible views, and you'll eventually end up at the Roosevelt Dam. It was the perfect Arizona day and a wonderful way to experience the beauty, and history, of the desert.

We left promptly at 6:30 PM four our narrated tour and dinner. The weather and temps could not have been better. We toured the lake, saw fossils on the Canyon Walls I didn't know existed, saw Big horn sheep and beautiful scenery. The food was really good with smoke portions, Dr. Sky finished the evening with a discussion on the Blue Moon, Venus, Jupiter and the elusive Space Station. A very enjoyable trip snd memories. I highly recommend this for a family, romantic evening or just an evening out.

The young woman giving the tour was apathetic at best during the tour. She also completely skipped the elevator ride, saying it was too crowded. Then the mystery shacks tour guide seemed like he was doing us a favor by even being there. Sorry, did we disturb your day here guy? We ate in the restaurant. Food was ok, expensive, but ok. Service was good. Don't appreciate the political bumper stickers on the wall but whatever. Lastly it was two days before Christmas and nary a decoration to be found.
