The local Bloysters are large and meaty. They are not the sort that you want without some lemon. But with some fresh lemon and their mignonette they were very tasty. We then had the green lip mussels which were perfectly tender (not rubbery from overlooking. Yuck). The coconut cream was delicious. And was great with the bread. Really great. The Stewart island salmon was perfectly cooked and was so rich and delicious with a great sauce on top. The black rice underneath was great as was the tomato and fresh zucchini. It's not as big a flavor as the King Salmon from Alaska but a more delicate flavor. Overall a great place if you are down here enjoying Stewart island
