It's located within a few blocks, or about a 5 minute walk (if you're a fairly fast walker) from the metro, for convenience. There are restaurants nearby, although the ones we tried weren't very good and I wouldn't recommend them. There is a small convenience store that is opened until 11 located a block away. The room we got is more like a studio with a small kitchen, some pots and pans, 3 plates, cups, and bowls for the three of us. We had two comfortable full size beds and individual lights located above the headrest in case you want to read at night. The bathroom was on the small size, although I really like the tiles on the shower (no bath tub). As for the cons, the room was on the dark side. The bathroom light is sensor, which stinks because it's always turning off when it doesn't detect motion. Hot water seems to run out in the evenings, which is when we take our showers after a long day walking about. The elevator is so small that it barely fits the three of us and our luggage (which consists of 2 large backpacks and a rolling duffel bag). And for some odd reason, I had the hardest time with the elevator button. It seems I don't have the magic touch or something, because I have to press it about a half dozen times or more before it turns red, indicating that the lift is on its way to our floor. AND, the keyhole doesn't seem to like me either because I have a hard time opening the door. The slot keeps spinning when I try to insert the key. Lastly, there is no central air, but instead there is a loud standing air conditioner situated by the dining table. If you're not standing or sitting close to it, you're not feeling the cold air. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're looking for a cheap place and don't mind taking cold showers.

However given the steep nature of the streets, it's not a walk you would like to take everyday. Luckily the metro station is very close and quite cheap and easy. The staff were perhaps the kindest I have ever seen anywhere. They went out of their way to make sure you're experience is perfect in every way. The rooms are clean and comfortable and offer all the required amenities. Out room had an air-conditioner and we were really happy with it.

Some things were great, some were eh. Now to the good! First of all, the location of this hotel cannot be beat. ITS RIGHT NEXT TO A CASTLE!!!!! The design and layout of the hotel is stunning! A very European feel with lots of historic medieval details and charm. The art in the hallways is kind of creepy, but I get that it goes with the time period. The ceiling is stunning!!! The bed is a bit too firm but the sheets have a great feel! The TV only has Czech and Russian channels, with the exception of cnn or bbc eng I think. Basically nothing to watch but that's ok! Overall I would say this is a good value for your money. It's a great experience and is sure to wow you, however the bathroom sewer smell needs to be gone. Also I just read some other reviews on booking.com and they also complain about the same smell. In response to other complaints the hotel claims that they got someone to fix the problem right away. But I'm here now, and trust me, it's not fixed.

I started dealing with Petr from Toronto and could not make a decision from Toronto and lost the apartment within hours but Petr found us another and while it was awesome, we did not land it. He found us another one that was exclusive to us and voila !!! He is down to earth, honest, works hard and treats people with genuine care. I recommend him for anyone looking for a nice real estate agent that cares!

Big, comfortable bed in the bedroom, futon in the living room - plenty of space for 4 people. Despite being close to the busy square (and a pub next door), the apartment was very quiet at night. No AC, but large windows and 2 fans provided plenty of ventilation, so it was comfortable even with temperatures around 30 degrees C. Fully equipped kitchen and a small grocery just around the corner. Large bathroom with washing machine, so good for longer stays too. Petra (our host) met us promptly on arrival and provided some great restaurant suggestions.

There are two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a living room, a dining room and a beautiful kitchen. It comes fully equipped and the renter is very easy to talk to. There's a beautiful outer door which leads to a courtyard. Once you enter the building, it's a few winding stairs but not bad. Rain shower, large bathtub and air conditioning were wonderful bonuses!! I booked a room at Jungmann, received a confirmation and even spoke to staff members a couple of days before our arrival about where to park etc. One day before our arrival the hotel sent us an email saying they made a mistake, we do not have a booking for a room at this hotel any longer. It should not be too hard for staff members of a hotel to organise bookings. They offered 25% discount on our next stay with them. Sure they know this is not going to happen. Very sad, we were so looking forward to our trip to Prague.
