Very high quality carpets. I've melted a body with acid in the bathtub but apart from that I'm a great tenant!

The location is perfectly situated because it's close to the tube stops and you can take the Uber Boat anywhere in minutes. My flat came with a washer/dryer combo (which took some getting used to) and the full kitchen setup was nice. There was plenty of closet space, storage space, and the beautiful balcony views were my fav. Housekeeping came by once a week and they were just okay. I still felt the need to have my own cleaning supplies for when things were missed but they were always friendly and respectful. I felt very safe living here, walking around the area and the one time I noticed a domestic disturbance in front of the hotel, the staff checked it out immediately. I'd highly recommend staying here whether on the hotel side or corporate housing side.

The south bank area is just amazing with all the cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, bridges and many tourists attractions. the building itself has a 24 hour concierge service, with 3 people on each shift- so helpful and friendly. in addition to a swimming pool and a gym. the flats interiors are standard, but you can find very luxurious ones on the top floors (pent houses) rent is reasonable for living in this area with all facilities, but the only thing that made me move was the extremely heated floors, caused by hot water pipes running through the walls (that's what I was told), which was not a problem in winter but two years ago it was an excruciating summer in London which I could not bear any more. wish I could go back and live there once again

Several restaurants are nearby and they are worth visiting. The staff will take care of every need you may have. The only caution is the washing machine dryer - can't hold as much as the American ones we have. That being said, it did it's job (slowly but surely).
Stamford Street Apartments
Student accommodation for King's College London Students…read more This place is ok. The price is very reasonable for its location, central London. Each room comes with it's own bathroom, though the bathrooms are the type you would find in an RV or caravan, very small and compact. While the kitchen lacks a large refrigerator, each room comes with a small one (but without a freezer compartment). The worst part about this place is that living here will cause injury to your body. As the rooms are so tiny, you will find yourself crashing into different parts of the room to get access to anything else. Also, you only get 4 power outlets, so best bring a power strip. Finally, ventilation in the rooms are almost nonexistent. Doors are forced shut by "fire safety" and windows can only be cracked open. There are no vents or ducts, besides a little fan in the bathroom that is very noisy. Also, leaving the bathroom door open will block access to the closet or room lights. All in all, students should only pick this place for its location, not anything else.

My main issues were the bed and the shower. My husband loved that the bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood. I did not. The shower was also a bit hit snd miss. Sometimes it was ok, other times it would continually go from boiling hot to freezing cold. The instructions in the booklet were for a different shower. Floors were dirty and dusty. Any supplies such as TP, towels, etc, you needed to get them yourself from the lobby. Place smelled like smoke and weed. One working elevator. Great for a 'home from home' type place to stay in London…read more We had a 2 bedroom apartment, with TWO bathrooms!! It was just great to come home to a place with a sofa, a tv, a kitchen with all appliances you need for a weekend away, including a dishwasher, a big fridge freezer, all pots/pans/crockery/cutlery/etc and even a washer/dryer. Oh, and things like dishwasher tablets were provided. Brilliant. I wasn't present when my friends had checked in so didn't really have any dealings with any staff, as lucky for us we had no problems with anything over the weekend. And the place was really clean, a great size, we had no problems with noise, and from our room, we could see a tiny bit of the london eye, Battersea power station and the houses of parliament! I'm actually yet to pay for my share of the weekend so not sure what it is exactly but I think its worked out at about £80 for myself to stay 2 nights. Also what makes it so cool is its really close (5 minute walk) to Borough Market, which was brilliant. Amazing fresh and interesting food and plants and things.

Why I am…read moregiving a 2 star is because of a few reasons I wish I'd been warned of: 1: NO Air Conditioning during a heat wave is no fun. 2. The underground is beneath this apartment so every 5 minutes or so there's a rumbling of the whole place. 3. Windows must remain open because of the heat but unless you love to pub crawl until the wee hours you may be kept awake by the people with pints on the streets below. 4. Housekeeping: stained sheets and moldy showers are an eye sore. The people were nice and the space is large. We are a party of 4. It was spacious enough for us.

I was incandescently happy (forgive me, I watched Pride & Prejudice again the other night) to find my quarters had a large bedroom and living room, as well as a kitchen (not a kitchenette) with a dishwasher AND a washing machine. Further, each unit has its own wifi network as well. The positives made up for not having daily hotel maid service for sure. Very nice location in the City of London. I'll definitely try to stay there whenever I'm there for work.
