Maybe this particular employee was having a difficult day, but from my observation it seemed just being a little lazy. This location lacked customer service. The girl in front of me was purchasing an item and worked at the airport. I witnessed the worker not give a discount cause her " register was closed". I think whether or not the discount is small the employee is entitled to get it. For me, I asked a simple question if they had an item in stock ( coconut water) The employee said no, and I found it myself. It's just disappointing to see someone represent the store that doesn't care.

She went in and asked about a charger which had no price on it. His response to her was "how much do you want it to be?" She found a half off rack, again with no marked price. She asked again how much this charger was, and he responded she did not want that because it was broken. He continued with personal questions, "are you alone?" "Who are you visiting?" He asked her how old she was and when she responded 17, she thought he would back off. He kept on with nosy and inappropriate questions in addition to creepily staring her up and down. He continued to try to play a game of cat and mouse with her in regards to the charger and finally she just grabbed one and went to pay at the self-checkout. The man walked over, took the charger out of her hand and proceeded to scan it himself... (An attempt to be closer to her.) She hurriedly paid and she left. She immediately called her father and while she was telling him what happened she turned around to see that he was right behind her and had closed the store by pulling the gate down. Her dad and I instructed her to go straight to an employee in the airport and let them know. By this time she was terrified. They got the police involved and we were told that the man would be spoken to, but he had left when he heard My daughter talking to her dad. On top of all of this the $40 charger that she bought did not work. She saved the receipt and the box along with the charger and I have written to corporate bringing their attention to the type of people they have employed and requesting a refund. I have yet to get a response to two emails that I have sent already. I don't care how convenient the store is, whoever they have working there seems to be dangerous. I'm sure that this is not the first or the last time this will happen. Just a warning for any single women or younger people traveling. The one star is only because there is no option for zero stars. Disgusting behavior not to mention selling broken items.

With perhaps fifteen minutes before boarding my flight from Boston Logan International Airport to…read morethe Twin Cities, New England Collections caught my attention. This store was located across from the gate where I would be boarding my flight. This store is a cool gift shop. You can get everything from New England t-shirts with specific local sayings, to salt water taffy and baked beans. Years ago, I did a road trip that took me eastbound through the Maritime provinces. I then took a ferry with my car over to the States and drove back. One of my stops was Boston for a few days. I look back at that time and I don't think I got any souvenirs. I was more focused on making memories and eating as much seafood as possible. This store made up for it. This store had so many different lobster (I should say lobstah to fit in) plushies. They varied from sizes to whether they were wearing sailor hats. I got a medium-sized one with Boston embroidered on one of its claws. I have a small collection of crab plushies (they are mostly Squishmallows and represent my astrological sign), but I didn't have a lobster one until I bought one here. I paid at the counter. The woman wasn't the friendliest. I find that it's a normal Bostonian thing. I came across as being overly cheerful and friendly in comparison, which was weird because that's simply who I am. I paid for my purchase with a credit card. I got a small bag to protect my lobster plushie. I thanked her and walked out of the store, happy with my purchase. My New England lobster came with me to the Twin Cities and then home to Markham. I think it has more travel experience than most of my plushies. I enjoyed briefly browsing and shopping at this store. I may need to revisit Boston, as my road trip was well over a decade. I'm sure there's so much more to check out, including a longer perusal of this store's merchandise. (168)
