Updating my review, Peruvian Chicken sandwich is awesome. Fresh ingredients and they pair well together. I've been in line and heard others ordering it, it's a popular one.

i absolutely LOVED elmendorf!! this place is so cute and just such a gem. the food was incredible and i really enjoyed my latte. the employees were kind and hilarious. seating is limited and in a small area, but it gets the job done. the store is cozy done right. i highly recommend coming here!

Stopped by on a Saturday and the cafe was decently busy, but we luckily got a free table. First of all, the service was amazing! The workers were patient as my friends and I asked questions to figure out what we wanted, and so friendly! The coconut matcha was super coconuty but masked the matcha flavor- recommend for people who don't love the taste of matcha. We thought the turkey sandwich was nothing special, but the peruvian chicken was AMAZING! The ahi verde sauce was delicious, and I made sure to eat every last drop off my plate :) The five spice cookie is also a must try! It's sweet, spiced, and a delicious balance between all of the flavors. Will definitely be back, and recommend you try it out!

Friendly servers, food is fantastic, small spaces for seating indoors or outside. You can pick up neat bakery needs from books to actual pans. If you are in the area be sure to stop by!!

Elmendorf is legit! They have amazing drinks and baked goods. I visited their stand at a fair and they had a bunch of options to choose from - I went with a cookie with rainbow sprinkles and a slice of the pumpkin chocolate bread, both of which were so delicious and decadent! I love how they have a bunch of seasonal items, perfect for the fall. I once stopped by and tried the hojita latte and it was simply amazing - so flavorful and absolutely hit the spot. It's a bit unfortunate that they don't really have anywhere to sit inside. The space seems to be a bit cluttered, as I believe they also sell products that are strewn around the store. They do have some outdoor seating, but it seems like it's mainly a to go type place, especially in the colder months.

I needed some tools for an upcoming baking project and at a friend's recommendation, decided to stop by Elmendorf. The shop was smaller than I anticipated, but still had a fairly wide array of tools, cookbooks, and ingredients. I purchased a cake spatula, a bench scraper, and a cake round. The staff were very friendly and helped me find everything I was looking for. I also decided to get a quick snack. I ordered a blueberry struesel muffin and a small iced coffee (16oz). The muffin was tender and not too sweet, filled with blueberries and complete with a crispy, sugary struesel top. The iced coffee was strong, but very good. While I'm sure there's certain products that Elmendorf doesn't carry, it has a fairly wide selection for such a small store. With the addition of good food and nice staff members, it definitely became my top choice for cooking/specialty food stores.

Probably one of the best ham sandwiches I've ever had. It's on par for Boston prices a nice $14 for a sandwich. It was a good sandwich, it was very filling sandwich, it was a delicious sandwich. I really liked the ham, arugula, caramelized onion mix. It was decadent

Fantastic croissants & kouign amman and lovely, interesting drinks (hojicha lattes, etc.). The staff is very friendly and efficient, and the space is super cozy. Also excellent spot to get hard-to-find baking supplies like black cocoa and specialty flours.

What a gem! I was only visiting the area and I would love to visit again next time I'm in Boston. Freshly milled high quality flours are labeled with the near by farm! I grabbed a few to bring home for bread making. I also got some Valrhona chocolate, sparkling sugar, and had a nice cup of coffee. This store has so much to offer in a small space. Highly recommend!

Visited and was surprised how bad the latte was. For a place with a 5-star rating, this felt extremely overrated.

Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. After about 40 minutes, the bread had become somewhat dry and hard.

What a fantastic treat! I've been to Bova's bakery but wasn't on my radar during this Boston trip. When the Florentine cannoli was mentioned, I changed all my plans to try this cannoli. As luck would have it there was a parking spot almost across the street. I walked inside with one person in front of me. The display case has the all the freshly made cannoli front and center. How do you choose only one? I asked the counter person for a Florentine cannoli and a piece of apple strudel to go. I was out the door in five minutes, hooray! Once I got back to my hotel, I had to take a picture of this incredible pastry. First bite and I get the taste of lace cookie compared to what we're all used to, a crunchy shell. The lace cookie shell is incredible, it's firing off all senses. The cannoli cream is fantastic! Overall, this is a 10 out of 10 pastry. Forget those two large pastry shops with long lines, Bova's Bakery is a must stop when visiting Boston. If it's your first time trying a Florentine cannoli, Bova's Bakery makes the best on the north end. You're welcome.

Korean Momma has set the bar very high. The cheesecakes are great for parties and entertaining, but sometimes I keep an eye out for a fun flavor and just get it to try. Nothing beats the OG burnt flavor though, which has just the perfect touch of saltiness to complement the tangy cheese flavor and balance out the sweetness of the cake. I also love the graham cracker crust which gets so caramelized, crispy, and almost a little smoky. For gluten free friends out there, you can also get the cheesecakes without the crust. I'm so happy that they've now partnered with Darling which serves their gluten free cheesecake on their menu, but it's always worth signing up for one of the weekend drops to chat with Duly and his whole team.

There were parts of the cheesecake that was quite salty, not sure if this was intentional? We did enjoy the parts of the cheesecake that was not salty tho! Perhaps we got a bad batch.
