Linkedin was basically all they told you to use here in terms of making connections. Again, I did this several times with little result. When I was connected, I felt that this connection didn't really know my counselor that well. Which made this awkward for me and the contact. When I missed my desired deadline, I tried to get my money back on the guarantee. However, this was something that was only said verbally, not in my contract, so they did not have to pay me back. In addition, I found it very unprofessional when my counselor, sent me another candidate's resume accidentally when returning my resume for review. Also, maybe it's just me, but I find it very unprofessional when multiple emails being sent to me are not checked for grammar or spell checked.
