Been going about 61/2 years. Love the worship ( Psalm 100:4-"Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and…read moreHis courts with Praise; give thanks to Him and praise His Name") Really prepares you to receive the message/sermon from The Word of God. Key for me, always The Authority of The Word of God. also the Love of the Body of Christ and for the community and seekers, those searching for Truth..." without Love... you can give your body to be burned at the stake... speak in tongues of men and angles, and have not love/charity, I am become as sounding brass, or tinkling cymbal (Noise)." Grateful for Jesus, Karen M PS- And I love my Bible group!

Huge beautiful facility with free coffee and a cafe that's open on Sundays and during the week. The pastors are very engaging with inspiring and energizing messages. Live music is outstanding too. Very comfortable and judge-free environment and always helpful. They do a great job of connecting people to small groups and other resources if you're interested. The app Get Hope is a great resource. They will be offering Sunday services in the late afternoons as well. Excellent place for children and teens with age appropriate rooms for daycare and a nice area for teens. There is also a fitness center that is also open to the public with exercise classes. Highly recommend this church for anyone interested in learning more about the Christian faith in a safe and loving setting.

We did a Google search for churches in Fuquay and Holly Springs, and found Carolina Chapel. We headed over to their 10am service with no idea of what to expect. Their temporary location is in the Apex Banquet Hall - 1402 East Williams Street at US1 and 55. Their website said 'come as you are', and when we got there, we were warmly greeted by several church members. They have a separate children's church for very young children, though youth members also attended the main service. The church is young and small - only a year old - and the congregation was diverse and laid back. The church is led by Pastor Ryan Moon. He is a musician and singer as well, and opened the service by leading a contemporary Christian band - keyboard, drums, bass, semi-acoustic guitar. The music was very good, just a bit too loud due to the acoustics of their current location - very low ceilings, etc. The service consisted of music, interspersed with prayer and scripture, and sermon. The sermon was Part 2 of a series focusing on loving your life now. He opened the sermon with a comedy video clip to start - didn't quite tie in directly, but the sermon was first-rate. He was very well prepared, referring to notes only occasionally. He incorporated scripture throughout his sermon, and was able to put passages in layman's terms without talking down to the congregation. He was dynamic and and spoke from life experiences, projecting honesty and sincerity. When the service was over - it lasted about an hour and a half - Pastor Ryan took the time to welcome us, while the congregation put together a low-key pot luck lunch. We had a very positive experience at Carolina Chapel, and don't doubt the church will continue to grow, particularly once they settle into their permanent location in Holly Springs. Non-Denominational? Yes Dress: Casual, come as you are Type of Service: Contemporary, Charismatic, Music- and Message-Driven Multiple Services? Not yet - 10am only, with separate Children's Church available Communion? Monthly at present Diverse? Yes LGBT Friendly? Seems to be Note: They are unable to adjust the thermostat in their current location -- it was VERY cold, so be sure to take a jacket regardless of the season...

This is a wonderful church with just one or two unappealing aspects about it. I'll get into that…read morelast part in a second. First, the wonderful... The entrance comes out of nowhere, coming from the direction of Ten Ten Road. The church itself is hidden from the road and your only real clue at 45mph is the picket fencing close to the asphalt. But there's residential picket fencing before that, so you must be alert until you get used to it. On days of worship there is someone guiding traffic and, from my experience, ample guest parking. If you follow the arrows, you can drive around the complex (where there's construction going on, adding to the real estate as I write this) and park on the side. At these entrances are rooms set off for other purposes such as AA meetings. The wide front entrance leads to a foyer where visitors are welcome to a sort of goodie packet, which includes a pack of ground Larry's Beans Coffee. Very nice, thank you! To the right is an administrative area and to the left is a water fountain. There's another entrance into the worship hall, those side rooms I mentioned, and the bathrooms. I should point out that the men's restroom is awesome. Stylish and immaculate. Yes, I just used the term "immaculate" in a church review... Service itself is straight to the point. A good-sized band sings on a good-sized stage - then gives way to the Word. The message was super-fulfilling and it put me in the right state of mind. To the rear of the room (which is basically a gym, and that's one of two things that weirded me out) is a very nice coffee and snacks area. Now the unappealing part. I've been to black churches and services on various Indian reservations, and they all suffer from the same thing I disliked about this experience: zero diversity. It's extremely white. And while I'm the least racist person on planet Earth, I do admit that I notice things like that, and would love to see this otherwise fantastic church more integrated. For that matter, I'd like to see that from all places of worship, but I guess I'm not changing the world through Yelp.

I was a member of this church for a year and had been going for 3. Had gotten saved, baptized, and…read morethen accepted membership to this place. I was in the youth group. My mother got cancer during the later part of me attending this church and I could no longer get myself to church without a ride. The youth group and the pastor all then decided I was a "heathen" and then proceeded to make me feel uncomfortable at every service. I was devoted to this church and to God. I had changed my wardrobe to their version of godly. (Women always had to wear skirts or dresses extending past the knee. I carried my bible through the school hallway, and with me every where. I did daily or bi-daily devotionals in my bible. The youth group valued you based on a point system. at Sunday school you can add up the points of everything you did that week (passed out flyers: 100 points, daily devotional: 3000 points.) I was asked to donate more for the collection plate. The letter i received said and I quote "we see that you donate 10% for the grace of God, why not bump it to 20%?" Anyways; I changed my music to where I could only listen to hymns and instrumental without sinning. They don't even like "I can only imagine" because it's wrong to try to imagine heaven and God. (???) Since leaving the church for good, I started researching other religions: and really found an interest in paganism/ Wicca. I am now an initiated Wiccan with one of the local covens and I am very happy. In short; this church is full of hypocritical leaders. The community itself is amazing as well as the members. This is just the kind of preaching that gives Christians a bad name. If you are looking for a good Easter/ Christmas service; landmark is good for that.
