As a Movement Coach myself, Apex is where I go for the BEST proactive treatments. I work hard to stay athletic and active as a wife, mom of 3 and business owner so when I have something on my body slowing me down (oh aging) I book an appointment knowing I will be in good hands. They have the most up-to-date therapy tools like the Indiba machine, Neufit, dry needling and ultrasound. This is NOT a place that just throws some ice on you and with a TENS unit and puts you on a table in the corner. They actively take part in your prevention and recovery. It's so easy to book an appointment. I often wait until the last minute so within a week is reasonable for sure. I love that they are playful and relaxed, it doesn't feel like a stale and sterile clinic atmosphere. If you're looking for something different and effective for soft tissue issues, use Apex as your primary care so you don't waste time in the pipeline of the "sick care" system. read more

I had used apex several times and couldn't have been more satisfied. I always recommended apex to everyone. This time I got taken. They decided to put me in some study, but they didn't explain anything to me. I trusted them totally because of the past experience. I keep asking them about the treatment I was getting couldn't get any explanation. I was not getting treatment to help me get better. After 12 appointments they told me I needed a to have evaluation the owner gave it to me. The owner did and didn't speak to me the entire time. Even after he just told me to find the next time I come back. Guess what I didn't go back. I certainly did want to waste anymore time. I told my Doctor and he said he definitely wouldn't be recommend it again because I was not the first person to complain. read more

I had two issues. The first was a bursa flair up in my hip. It was inflamed and burning. The second was my tennis elbow, which upon having an ultrasound at Apex, it was discovered that I had a tear in a tendon. After having dry needling on both, I am excited to say that I am back to playing pickleball after not being able to for over a year. Don't waste your time even trying to get an appointment. Finally got a call back after week 1, but missed the call. Called back within 2 hours, but was only able to leave another message. Abbie was nice, but she can't book an appointment. Abbie said they were accepting new patients, but the patient coordinator obviously does not agree. After 3 weeks and several calls (while in a lot of pain from a frozen shoulder), I finally gave up and booked another place. read more

I was a new patient with left hip pain and was told that my insurance covered my services. initially I saw Ben and he was attentive to reviewing reports and MRI during the consult. my second visit with Ben he utilized a tins treatment and I was told it would be a $30 charge at the end of the session. i responded with what I was told originally that my services were covered. I do prefer to have the same therapist when possible as they are familiar with your case. my third visit Ben was taken off the schedule and I was to be with Lou. I was greeted by a young lady who wanted me to ride the bike for 3 minutes. I was a bit taken with this and asked her if she knew I had hip pain, to which she responded well just try. Then I saw Lou and we reviewed my case again. Then he proceeded to use a cryo therapy by no discussion of a charge, which I was again told it would be a $30 charge. I was the turned back over to the young lady so Lou could treat another patient. I was given a referral to Apex due to the closeness of where I live. I entered the facility with a mask on and was told it was optional. I observed not a person, regardless of employee or patient was wearing one. I was given some paperwork to fill out, I sat down and observed a rather unprofessional atmosphere. A lot of fooling around, boisterous behavior and even employees behind the desk fooling around. After going through some of the paperwork I finally got up and said to cancel my appointment that this may have been the most unprofessional medical facility I've ever been in. The manager followed me out the door and asked me why I was leaving which, I told him the above not to mention that it was more comparable to a daycare or kindergarten than a physical therapy clinic. Poor business practices. Over a YEAR has passed since my last appointment with APEX and I just received a bill for my very first visit. I had checked at the time to be sure I didn't owe anything. I called the business office and they said it was a "glitch" in their system but I owe the money. Very sad that with everything costing more and rent going up, I now have an unexpected bill. read more

Great physical therapy; very caring and engaged staff. I had shingles on my sciatic nerve seven months ago which left me with weakness and numbness up and down my right leg and foot. I had excellent physical therapy at home in Connecticut and was concerned until I found Apex It's been a really rewarding experience. In addition to an extremely well-trained staff, the facility offers Neufit--an electrical stimulation therapy that has helped me greatly. I can't say enough great things about Apex and its staff! Highly recommend this facility. They are teaching me how to work through my lower back pain, while building up my core to minimize pain later in life.
