When I arrived, after a 45 minute drive to see her, I was told she only had a 5 minute window and would not see me. I don't care how good you think you are, I'm a diabetic not an army recruit.

The…read moreoffice made me wait 30 minutes in the waiting room, and then when the doctor came in, he did not even stay in the room ten minutes. When he first walked into the room he asked my mom if she speaks English. We are both white. It was very rude. I asked about how an upcoming surgery would affect my illness, and he yelled at me and told me not to have surgery and to get a second opinion. Then he talked about how God made us a certain way, so I should not have the surgery. NOT APPROPRIATE! And to top it off, he never answered any of my questions, and then walked out of the room!

It's a bummer because doctor Chang is super cool. However, I've called at least five times simply trying to get somebody to pick up a phone and approve my synthroid prescription with my pharmacy and they still haven't done it. All of my other doctors do this immediately. There's no reason for it to take almost a week. The woman who answers the phone and takes my call is always cold and rude and says she's giving somebody the message but apparently they never get it or just can't be bothered with it. I called this morning right when they opened to give them time to call my pharmacy and give them the approval to fill my prescription and send it out and yet from 9am to 5pm they couldn't find the time to make a simple phone call or fax over the memo. My pharmacy contacted me for the fourth day in a row saying the doctor hasn't contacted them and that my prescription is going to be late. This is unacceptable. Update: Called again. It's been eight days and still hadn't heard anything about my prescription. I told them that express scripts needed the office to contact them directly and she kept arguing that she needed to contact tricare first. I've talked to express scripts at least ten times in the last week and every time they say to have the doctors office contact them directly and they'll take care of the tricare part, yet the girl at the office kept arguing with me. A few days ago when I talked to her I gave her a direct line to talk to somebody at express scripts to approve my prescription and she said she wasn't going to call it because she didn't feel like sitting on hold. Seriously. She said that. Sorry lady, that's kind of your job. She also said she wasn't going to guarantee when she'd even get around to taking care of my prescription, which by the way I have to take everyday to survive. Tricare will definitely be getting a claim from me about how careless this office staff is. Second update: It's now been almost three weeks. Still no synthroid prescription. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE THREE WEEKS TO FILL A PRESCRIPTION!! I'm all out of energy at this point. They gave me samples to "tide me over." Checked the expiration on the box and guess what? It's expired!! Wonder if this is why I've had a headache for a couple of days. When I discovered it was expired it was already after closing on Friday and I couldn't get an emergency fill at Wal Mart because the doctor needed to approve it. This is unacceptable. When I called today the girl who is supposed to be in charge of calling in prescriptions was rude again and told me she'd call in a fill by the end of the day and SHE DIDN'T! This is my health. This is my life. I need these pills to survive. I will be taking action. Calling Tri Care and Coast Guard Legal in the morning to report them for whatever I can! I will NEVER return to this office after I get my thyroid pills.

Staff messes up things and it takes almost your last nerve to get them to fix the issue. He needs to hire new staff. It's a shame because this is what is happening in good doctors offices, great doctor with lousy staff.

I come the next time and the first thing out of her mouth was "I'm surprised you're still alive". "I am surprised you're not blind". "I am surprised you still have your limbs". Worst endo appointment and doctor I have ever had in all my life going to any doctors. Needless to say like another reviewer says just go to your PCP they can treat you so you don't have to listen to this kind of BS!
