My husband went to this clinic and was helped by Nurse practitioner, Jainy. She was excellent and really listened to him.

Nice, friendly staff. Jeff is a good dude to work with. Been going for 4 months without an issue. Hours are convenient for people that work.

I saw Dr H Martinez and he was patient and took his time to explain and took time to listen and respond to my questions as well. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend the facility and Dr Martinez if you are looking for a primary care physician.

She is lovely and nice , but the last few times I went in I was rushed. I went in June for blood work/physical. I am type 2 diabetic and want to make sure my A1C is managed. My blood work came back not good BUT this time I had more issues that I never had before. High cholesterol, low iron, white blood count high. I go back in September 2 to run blood work and talk about my last blood work and I literally was In the room five minutes when a nurse ushered me to get my blood work done which they normally do in the room but ok. After blood work I said ok do I go back in the room. I was told no she is done we will call me an ultra fast appointment because I have concerns and a list of things I need to go over with her. The front desk didn't care. The sweet phlebotomist did care as I was crying upset over this. She actually cared. Also my blood pressure was high and I asked the doctor to re take it as it's never high and she said no. She sent me home with a form to write down my blood pressure daily and bring back in. It was high because I was upset and she would not retake it. Been monitoring my blood pressure since September 2 and it is normal. Would have been nice for MY PCP to care. Nothing was gone over with me as far as blood work. Nothing. Even still. I call to ask about changing my diabetes medicine as the one I been on is causing issues. I was told to schedule an appointment. I was just there to discuss this and got shuffled out within five minutes. Just had blood work and physical. ANOTHER DOCTOR ISSUE is I got sick September 7th and had to do a video call with another doctor. Rachelle Bishop. I was told to go get flu and Covid test and after results we will go from there . Came back negative. I sent a message asking for guidance and a note to return to work and she never even replied to my question I PAID FOR . I will Post copies of the message from patient portal that i still have not gotten a reply or doctors note from. As of today I have changed my PCP and will never go back to Methodist. Pics are showing how I never got a reply from a doctor I paid to see. I was running a fever and needed antibiotics and a doctors note.

I wasn't even given a chance. One slip up, they'll kick you out. I was originally going for IOP,…read morebut got knocked up to be in PHP. At the end of my first day, I had a breakdown and started screaming and sobbing. Rather than a nurse come by, the receptionist does instead, and had the audacity to assume psychotic symptoms in me. They called me a danger to the rest of the group, though I shown no signs of aggression beyond cursing (which was normal anyway). She thought I wouldn't remember. But I completely remember. I couldn't move, and was frozen in place, and they didn't bother to help me. Even the other members seemed to care more than the staff here. The driver contacted me today saying she would be coming, but my mom had to give me a call and tell me herself that I was discharged. They didn't even tell the driver, the one responsible for transporting me thanks to me not having a vehicle, that I wasn't coming back. Apparently the reason I was discharged is me being a "danger." Just because I yelled and cried. I, a mentally unwell individual (and as shown by my papers as well), was discharged for having a normal episode for my diagnosis. The therapist was non-negotiable, and I bet she doesn't want to hear what I have to say. To whomever runs this place, please get your staff together. Our mental illnesses vary in severity, and these sorts of things should be expected. It is disgusting that we less-functional people should be denied further help just because we're not as stable as others. And if any of the staff see this, thank you so much for ruining my day. I have a plan to set forward and you guys are another reason why I will most likely off myself. Fuck you. I wish the other adolescents the best.

Why 5 stars? Because they saved my Dad's life…read more --- --- --- A hospital having a Yelp page is definitely a different ballgame than just about any other kind of business. I'm sure that there are countless others who have lost loved ones at Bay Area Regional Medical Center, and it probably had nothing to do with the doctors/nurses not performing up to a certain standard during their visit. Life's randomness sometimes trumps precision that the most wonderful medical professionals on Earth have to offer. But in our case, BARMC could only be described as a God-send. My dad had a heart attack on Thanksgiving. In an instant, my Dad transformed from the most active 58 year old that anyone knows, to the guy laying on the bathroom floor at the gym with no pulse. My brother was fortunately by his side, and was able to call 911 pretty instantly. The paramedics arrived swiftly and were as efficient as possible in literally bringing him back from the dead. He was then transported to BARMC. He quickly had to have a stent placed in his artery, which went very smoothly. By the time I got into town a few hours later, he was heavily medicated, but still awake and talking. I didn't even know what any of this meant prior to Thursday, but apparently, it was nothing short of a miracle. Not only that he was alive, but that he went from a goner to very normal in a few hours. This is a testament to my dad's excellent shape/conditioning, but I'd imagine all of medical people involved played a role as well :) Where we really began to appreciate BARMC is the quality of care that he received in ICU. All of the nurses/doctors were absolutely phenomenal. Kayla, Natalia, Shelby, Dennis and all of the other names that I'm forgetting - you were all the absolute best. It's amazing that people who work in a place that's filled with so much sadness on a daily basis, could manage to be so cheerful and happy. All of them had the demeanor of people who were on vacation, in that, they were just so happy and joyful. Maybe it was that my dad's story was so amazing, or maybe this place just breeds super heroes. Either way, we loved it. All of these wonderful folks really helped me to put life in perspective. I love my job and always give it my all... but these people literally save lives for a living. Instead of enjoying Thanksgiving with their family, they perform insanely advanced procedures on people, while crying family members wait in the lobby with lives hanging in the balance. Much like folks who join the military, it's a job I could never do, but I'm forever grateful that others can.

My dad was in this hospital and too many mishaps to list. It took 48 hours to reconcile his home…read moremedications. They never responded to the call button and they employees are smart ass and mock you when you ask for help. I know several people work there and the place is rotten from the top down. Good people will not stick around and it will only get worse until upper management does something to change the culture. The HR department needs to be completely fired and built from the ground up. All the employees seem to be rejects from other hospitals in the area that were willing to accept a lower wage to have free reign to do whatever they want. They do not know how to staff, compensate or develop their employees. You can't teach someone to be a nice human being though.
