Nick is the best at what he does! When we lost our spare key for a ten year old BMW, I called the dealer who wanted close to $800 to replace it. A local independent BMW repair shop recommended Apex Locksmit. Although I was wary about not going through a BMW dealer, I called Apex and was quoted $325. I decided to chance it and Apex (Nick) came the same day. Nick did a fantastic job with a difficult model to code a new key. My girlfriends 2019 Hyundai sonata got broken in to and they busted the ignition. we were losing hope calling around to other locksmiths and shops. They were all saying the same thing "contact your dealer" "we don't have the part because it's on back order for a few months" "there's a fee to come look at the car". But We called Apex and he said he'll be there in an 45 min to check it out and he luckily had the last part ! He worked quick (about 30 minutes) and was very helpful in communicating what was wrong and what he could do. Also a very fair price compared to what the dealership charges. This is my 2nd time with Apex Lock and Key. They are very busy but super nice and super professional super reliable. The very first encounter, was I needed two key remotes for our Kia's and in that they didn't have the remotes he and his brother tried their best to get it working it just wouldn't sync with our Kia. BUT, he did make me two keys without the remotes and that was just as fine. After making the keys he went to the car and MADE sure that they both worked. This time around we needed to have our locks at the house changed and it was great. I called and with in that 1 hour Ken showed up we gave him the locks told him what we wanted and he did in about 1 hour. He programed it and it works great. I made an appointment two days in advance to have my house re-keyed. They called 50 minutes before they were supposed to arrive, but I was not able to immediately answer the phone. When I called back 20 minutes later, they said they cancelled my appointment because I didn't confirm! When I complained about this "policy" the owner turned ugly, said he didn't want to deal with me, and hung up. read more

This company is amazing!!! I have a 2000 honda accord and one morning the key stopped turning the ignition. Everyone else I called said that I needed to replace the ignition and quoted me 75-100.00 to just come look at it even when I told them I thought the key just needed to be recut to factory size. That price did not include the repair or labor. Nick from Apex showed up before our scheduled appointment time (which is great in my book), was very professional, fast, and VERY reasonable in cost. Yesterday, at the end of our day, before every one left, i went to garage to put something in the car and to move it closer to our office and accidentally locked my key inside the car....car was left running. It never happened to me before, so i could not believe this is me. I always put close attention to what i do and where my keys are. Must be one of those days. Anyways, back to the case - googled up a 24/7 locksmith services and few companies poped up, APEX Lock and Key Co was the closest one to me, so i gave it a shot, called their number, a male who has answered the phone, was polite and easy going to talk to, explained whole unlock process and fees structure. Prices were reasonable, so we have agreed for them to come. They arrived very quickly (impressed!) they were close by still. Car was unlocked within a minute... What can i say? - very pleased with service, definitely recommend their service for all my friends. Also they appear to provide car key cutting for most cars, so i will go and do a spare key for my personal car in the next few day, we will see how that will go and will try post an update later on. A fancy website does not equate to honest and competent work. Unfortunately I learnt that with this company. I had them come to cut new keys for my motorcycle and the locksmith (Ukranian guys) managed to lose all electrical power to the bike that was working prior to them coming arriving. So after 2 hours and a more serious problem they had to leave for another job. It is not the fact that this occurred but when he said I will come back to fix the issue??? Well off course that did not happen and I had to spend $300 and another 2 weeks to get my motorcycle repaired. Thanks for you honesty in returning to rectify the problem you caused me APEX. Very professional and excellent service! I purchased a spare key from eBay and needed the key cut. I called Apex and they were able to cut the key for me and I programmed it myself right away and it worked! All said and done, I spent $20 on the key and $17 for Apex to cut the key. $37 for a new key with a key fob (Keyless entry) - compared to the hundreds of dollars that are charged at dealerships.
