This company is based in Houston and rents medical facilities from existing orthopedic offices at…read morelocations around Texas to perform various complementary testing procedures. They have one number for the state. You listen to the menu options and then choose your location. For me, DFW is where I needed service. At the moment DFW only has one technician performing the EMG nerve test. This individual has to drive all over the metroplex to offer the procedure. I was unable to book one of the just three appointments for the facility in Plano, so I ended up driving to the facility in Prosper instead. It was definitely out of my way and cost me time and money (I took the tollway) to get there. The facility was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. No one was at the front desk when I entered and it took at least ten minutes before a staff member showed up to greet me. There was no option to ring a bell or sign a clipboard, so I stood waiting at the front desk the entire time. Thankfully I had completed all of the pre-task paperwork online and in advance of the appointment. The front desk person finally showed up and invited me to sit down. Shortly afterwards, the technician invited me to a really large room where my appointment took place. Despite my apprehension about the procedure and negative mood, the technician was very cordial, professional, and helped put me at ease. He explained what was going to happen, had me sign some paperwork, asked me if I preferred to lie down or sit upright for the test, and then had me communicate with the billing office through Houston to pay. Regarding payment, the company had sent me an email invoice earlier to pay, but I didn't because it was one lump sum. I had previously been told that the expensive procedure could be broken down into three, interest-free payments. One payment would be due before the procedure got started and the other two payments would be due in the following months. Upon discussing this on the phone, the billing department sent me a new invoice via email with the three payment option available. I was able to make the payment online without having to orally give anyone my credit card number. The EMG nerve test consists of several procedures. The first was electrical impulses sent through my nerve system in targeted areas. It reminded me of the old knee-jerk test that physicians used to do back in the day to check your reflexes. However this test is digital and internal. The electrical pulse sent through my system often generated a knee-jerk reaction from my fingers and arm. The pulse felt like someone snapping a rubber band against my skin. It wasn't pleasant, but it was tolerable, and the pulses only lasted a few seconds. The second part of the test involved sticking needles in me in various parts of my body. The needles were a little longer than acupuncture needles and on par with them when inserted into my muscles. I was then directed to contract or relax a specific muscle by pressing against and using gentle force against the hand or arm of the technician. There was no pain, but I did feel the needle inserted multiple times and in multiple spots. I was able to complete the EMG within the hour. The test results will take nearly five business days, but I'll be happy to know what the results are. My orthopedic will go over the results via a tele health call a few days after the test. The company is very efficient with their resources and seems to have a working business model. I do wish that there were more appointments available in the City of Richardson and possibly another technician on staff so that the one I saw wouldn't be so spread thin.

This review is based on my wife's experience, and we are both extremely upset with how this office…read morehandled her appointment. My wife had a 3:00 pm appointment today (4/24) and arrived on time. They were quick to take the copay, and at that point there were only two other people in the waiting area. Over the next 15 minutes, three more people walked in. She sat there until 3:45 pm and finally asked the front desk if there was going to be a longer delay because she needed to get back to our kids. Only then was she told they were "running behind." They called her back about five minutes later, and a nurse took her to an exam room. She then sat there waiting for another 40 minutes with no update. At that point, after nearly an hour and a half since her scheduled time and still no doctor in sight, she walked out. She went to the receptionist, asked for a refund of the copay, and told her she had to leave. The receptionist did not apologize, did not explain anything, and basically had nothing to say. My wife was very disappointed and frankly felt disrespected. She did everything right: made an appointment, showed up on time, paid promptly, and still they showed zero regard for her time or her responsibilities as a parent. A simple phone call or text ahead of time to warn that they were running an hour and a half behind would have allowed her to reschedule instead of wasting her afternoon. It is hard not to wonder: if she had shown up an hour and a half late, would they have still seen her, or would they have charged her a no‑show fee without hesitation? She lost two hours of her day driving back and forth and sitting in their office, and never even saw a doctor. This experience left us frustrated, disappointed, and very unlikely to return or recommend this practice to anyone.

I was apprehensive at first about PT as I did not move my arm at all for 6 weeks while in the sling. Kyle was very careful, and gentle, when PT began after the stitches were removed (just before Thanksgiving). Each week of therapy showed increased improvement of ROM. He did give me exercises to do at home, (pulleys, stretches, weights) which I did religiously, and I know that has helped me immensely. You do have to do some work at home to keep things moving. He does push you a bit but that's his job. He has an easy going manner but he stays on task and is constantly checking on my well being. Colleen is a great addition to the staff as well. Friendly, very competent, and was gentle but firm in my therapy when she took care of me. Keisha, in the front office, always has a smile on her face and a kind word whether you're coming or going. That makes a big difference compared to some places I've been. All in all I would highly recommend Apex Network Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to get right after surgery or injury. I have complete range of motion now and I owe it all to Apex Physical Therapy, Kyle and his great staff, and the tools he gave me to get better after the surgery.

I'm new to chiropractic services, 65, and never thought I'd do it. however, have had chronic back…read morepain, had steroid injections and next level was to undergo laser. I decided to not do that and finally try a chiropractor. I went to Dr Weller at Atchley in Prosper. He put together a gentle program that eased me into it. By the 6 th visit my back pain went from a general pain of 6 to 7 daily to about a 2 to 3 and still improving. After my first manual adjustment I was ecstatically happy with the relief I had. I still have lower back pain that is improving as Dr Weller "does his thing". I'm a convert of about 8 sessions and plan to keep going. like going to your dentist to get fillings, root canals or cleaning, you gotta get your back aligned and then maintained . Lu at the front desk is awesome and always ahead of the curve and your next appointment and billings! My insurance (Aetna) covers 100% of the first 30 visits. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try! Good luck! And if your results are half as good as mine you will be ecstaticly pleased! Jim smith
