I went to Athletico in Fenton and I am so glad I did. My PT spent over an hour going though my case. He explained using a spine model exactly what was going on and how to repair it. He showed me how to preform my exercises then I was sent home with pictures of the exercises to do twice a day. Within a couple of weeks the numbness in my finger and thumb began to get better. I also received exercises to prevent injuries and strengthen the muscles so it doesn't happen again. Can't say enough good things about this place!

However, I was injured at work and healing independently was no longer an option. Every worker in this location is absolutely amazing and became family. I spent 3x a week with them for approximately 8 months before I was comfortable enough to leave personally. But that's to no fault of the location, I just wanted to be safer than sorry later so I stuck to it for longer. PT kicked my butt DAILY. And right when things were starting to feel easy, Jodi changed the workouts and made me feel like I was back at square one. She was also able to read her clients well. I've seen her be the sweetest person to an old lady who needed motivation to keep doing. But me? I was challenged. I got the attitude and the push she knew would work for someone like me. Things that seemed so small like standard squats were the only reason I was able to use a bathroom on my own again because you never realize how low toilets actually sit until your knee doesn't work. I could go on and on about how beneficial it was for me to be hear and I was not originally happy to be there. I didn't want PT, didn't think I needed PT and felt a pride hit being there. But now I know the benefits of going and hopefully I'll never have to go back but if I do, I'd never look for a different location or therapist.

The clinic is VERY clean. Everything is carefully wiped down with@(day appropriate cleaner and all linens where changed and properly cleaned. Nothing is laying out or not in an organized manner, it's great! They have an amazing device called alt-g, an anti gravity treadmill. You can walk with 0-100% weight bearing on a treadmill, that has been SO helpful. They have parallel bars, Thera bands, mats, bikes, ellipticals, and personal treatment rooms for evaluations to maintain privacy. The entire staff, the therapists and the PSSs are amazing! If you're looking for PT, I highly recommend! I have Katie as my PT post hip surgery and she has been absolutely phenomenal!

The staff is also very caring and considerate. But best of all, they have an exceptionally patient billing department. It took my insurance almost 20 months to pay (due to budgetary issues with my employer) and the Signature Medical Group, after collecting my office copay at visit #1, never bugged me about the bill again until they got paid by my insurance and they could see what was and was not covered.

I am writing about the mercy therapy services in O'Fallon Missouri however this is a billing issue…read moreand will be the same across the board for all mercy therapy offices. THEY OVERCHARGE, GO ELSEWHERE. I had six visits for a torn meniscus. I was never explained that I would be charged for two units of service no matter what. This caused my bill to be over $230 each visit, and that is the price with my insurance discount! The two units will consist of anything from an evaluation to ultrasound to manipulation to massage etc. If I would have known this, I would not have agreed to the ultrasound because that added over $116 per visit to the bill. My husband had the same problem with his knee last year and went to a different physical therapist and he was charged $50 per visit. I should have went there. Learn from me!
