We set attainable goals and I far exceeded those. The weekly meetings were a great mix of learning new concepts, breaking the myths, accomplishments for the week to overcoming struggles. Even outside of our weekly sessions I felt supported by Bridget. I would recommend her to anyone and have actually had friends sign up with her after my experience.

I always considered myself a fairly healthy person however started to notice that my diet consisted of a lot of processed protein bars and not a lot (any?) of veggies. I was interested in working with someone one on one -- I had never had a private health coach and frankly wasn't sure if it was for me, but grew up an athlete and knew I responded better in a 'coaching' type of environment. I also appreciated Bridget's holistic approach to health and wellness. Her weekly check-ins and curation of the program to fit your needs helped -- I wasn't necessarily looking to lose a lot of weight (although I know she can help with that too), but wanted to start treating my mind and body better. I am now in bed and have stopped using my phone by 10p most nights, just about every meal has a veggie in it (80/20 rule), and I've gotten better about cooking, meal prep, and dedicating time in the morning to meditate. And also not beating myself up so much when I do decide to indulge. I lost about 6-8 pounds and toned up, and have more energy now. She also starts every session with a brief mindfulness moment, which I loved and helped in getting centered to start. Try her out!

The unique kind of care delivered by these great doctors kept me from being in a wheelchair and kept me walking. Without their expertise in dealing with brain and spinal cord traumas my existence would be far more grave and way more painful and dysfunctional than it is now. I know they will keep me walking somehow and words cannot express my gratitude for their extensive individualized approach and care. I owe them my life. Thank you!

The approach he uses is gentle and very effective for whatever I am needing. Other chiropractors I have gone to in the past have patients going to see them weekly or more, but here I usually only have to go see Dr. Pat every few months and my husband even less. If I had a bad fall or have injured myself in sports I may need to see him more frequently, but only for a short time. This is because the techniques used at atrium are really effective. My husband and our kids really like going to see him as well.

For nearly $400 a month, I expected a premium fitness club--not an employee-led scavenger hunt…read more Sharon, a personal trainer at LifeTime Fitness in Frontenac, apparently believes that returning equipment to the place it belongs is just a fun suggestion. Members spend enough time working out without having to tour the entire gym looking for equipment that was left somewhere else. When I mentioned that the equipment should be put back where it came from, Sharon's professional response was to tell me to "mind your own business" and that "it doesn't matter" where the equipment is returned. Interesting philosophy. I wonder if LifeTime feels that way, too. You can almost understand when an occasional member leaves equipment lying around. But when it's an employee--someone who's literally being paid to teach good habits--it's a masterclass in hypocrisy. Maybe the next training package should include a session called "How to Return Equipment 101." It's a short class: pick it up, walk it back, and put it where you found it. For a club that markets itself as a luxury fitness experience, I'd expect trainers to set the example--not encourage members to lower their standards. Apparently, "mind your own business" is now considered customer service.
