I felt comfortable talking with Dr. Matthews right away, and his calm and confident manner went a long way to help guide me to healing. His format seemed very standard, with leaving me alone in a room with the vibrating things on my back, adjusting me afterwards, and then asking me to do some physical therapy type stretches/activities in front of him that I would do at home. The hands-on adjustments were very brief and focused on the particular parts of the body where I was having issues (not the whole body). This seems to be extremely standard practice at most chiropractic offices I have visited. If I needed this type of care again, I would not hesitate to return. I don't know if this is still the case, but when I visited him, he was the only employee working, and I didn't initially realize that the person greeting me was the Dr. himself, as he didn't have a nametag on or identify himself. I did find this kind of awkward, in that it meant I had to talk insurance and scheduling and payments with my chiropractor. He may have an assistant by now, so this may have changed.

When I started my range of motion was so terrible that I couldn't turn my neck at all. Now I can move with a full range of motion. I still have pain in my lower back that I've dealt with most of my life, but the Dr. Miller's adjustments help me deal with the pain, so that I can work full time and sleep better. This chiropractic office is very different than the one in Miami I used to visit. This one has a big room that is full of physical therapy equipment that I took full advantage of. The only time I ever had to wait in the waiting room was on my first visit to fill out a bunch of paperwork. After that visit, you learn what exercises to do, so you can just walk in the office and start using the equipment. I hate waiting in waiting rooms. At least in this office I feel like no time is wasted. I've recommended Advanced Chiropractic friends and family who ended up having the same experience that I had. You can tell that Dr. Miller really cares about making you get better and he goes above and beyond to make it possible. He knows pretty much everything you need to know about nutrition as well. He helped my sister in law with losing some weight and fixing the nutrients that she was deficient in. I don't know about you but being able to use my right hand is extremely important to me and I was losing that ability due to carpal tunnel neuropathy. I started seeing Dr. Rice in May, 2017, and quickly had relief to a certain extent and as of today, November 2017 It has practically disappeared. It's 99% gone.
