After hanging on hold for anywhere between 5 to 18 minutes after calling the main number, you best be sure they are truthful when giving an appointment many weeks out. There are probably appts sooner if you are standing in front of a friendly office receptionist. And if you are calling to reach a doctor or his/her medical staff, good luck with that. If you are already a patient in the practice, best to ask your doctor for an extension to reach their medical assistant in case you have an emergency and need to be seen immediately. A broken bone or excruciating pain cannot wait for weeks.

I came up with a little jingle with memory prompts for the names of the generic prescriptions I am on: Kepra and Kloracon, (the two k's) and atorvastatin and baclofin (A and B) Venlafaxene and Lozartan (two words that come from the letters from the middle of the first one) Gilen-ya To the tune of 'my favorite things'. My mother was at Medicana from Jan. 30th to March 13 this year. All the full time physical…read moretherapists at Medicana did an excellent job helping my mother walk again after a second hip fracture in 18 months. My mother truly appreciated how knowledgeable the PTs were and how caring and invested they are in helping their patients. The RNs, CNAs, and cleaning staff at Medicana were outstanding and friendly with only one or two exceptions. Also, the person who manages the food service department named Debra does a great job. Debra made an excellent effort to make my mother's meal experience the best that it could be. The business office was always very helpful and responsive. It was great working with both Vanessa and Francine in the business office. Please note that we were offered a single room for an extra $300 per night, but my mother opted to have a roommate instead of paying the extra amount. Also, patients should note that the doctor who authorizes discharge for some types of coverage comes once a week on Wednesdays. If you are still reading, I want to say thank you to the full time PTs named (in alpha order) John, Randy, and Rick plus the part time PT named Adriana. I cannot say enough great things about their abilities and their excellent bedside manner. I also want to say thank you to the CNA named Fennell. She is an exceptional employee and person. She has a GREAT attitude and made every effort to help my mother and everyone. I also want to thank all the RNs who took care of my mother for being so conscientious about her care. The ones who took care of her the most and did a great job were (in alpha order) Ashley, Damian, Magdala, and Normandy. The only negative was that it was hard to get a call back from the Social Work office, but that office arranged for us to work with an excellent home health agency called Trust USA Home Health.

He definitely gave me a better regime than I was given last summer. He understood where the greatest weakness is. Did a thorough assessment so we can track my progress with ensculpt Neo. Bijan truly understood where my weakness is... gave me a great hip exercise. Tie a resistance band to make a circle. Then ... standing by something I can hold onto... a counter or piece of furniture. Then walk sideways stretching the band as far as I can. Release but keep it tight so it doesn't fall down and do that for however long. So easy! And genius. $65/visit (with insurance). Worth it to keep living my best life! Just have to set up a payment plan. Go several weeks and then pay it off for several months

I get adjusted on a regular basis for maintenance and well-being…read more This past week I spent two+ straight days working in the computer and Embroidery and sewing..... in a very uncomfortable position apparently I came to the office with my back, my hip and a pain shooting down my right leg ..... I could hardly move. Doctors adjusted me and also used various techniques and electrical stimulation. The same day I was walking. They stressed my sitting position and explained why I had gotten into a painful situation. I followed their advise and continued daily adjustments. 3 days later I am totally free of pain. ..... But I am following carefully Doctor Francisco and Doctor Sebastián's recommendation on how I sit and tend to the health of my back and body. Forever thankful
