After seeing my friends/neighbors asphalt driveway done professionally by Gerry and his crew, I…read morecalled for an estimate.( I've spent years and countless hours diligently filling cracks and sealing the asphalt and it still kept cracking and generally looked awful). Gerry was prompt in coming over to give me a reasonable estimate which included resetting some Belgian blocks which were elevated due to a tree that had previously been bordering our driveway. I didn't even notice how bad they looked because of how bad the driveway looked! Gerry told me to expect the work to begin in about 10 days and he was true to his word. His crew ripped up the driveway and then came back a few days later to fix the Belgian blocks. A few days later, they were here with the asphalt and completed the project. It looks fantastic! This is the third time I've had the driveway done in the 36 years we've owned our home. The first two times we waited about a month between the time the driveway was demolished and the new asphalt was installed. ProMaster was so much quicker and I've never had a driveway look so good. The asphalt seems to be stronger, like a commercial grade that you'd see when a shopping center is repaired. Strongly recommend this company!

I had a few other companies come and give estimates but they were lacking in the design area. Devin and his team really impressed me with their professionalism, creativity, and respect for my property. I did not have to chase them as to when they would be showing up as I have with other contractors. His estimate was very detailed and was easy to understand with breakdown and description. His 3D rendering was extremely impressive and really was representative of what he was able to create. Dan was present every single day to get the men set up and to do a check-in with me to make sure I was happy with the process from start to finish. Each day the crew left my property neat, never leaving garbage behind, and were very mindful to never leave my gates open due to me having 2 dogs. As for the work... I was unsure what I wanted exactly but knew I didn't want a cookie cutter yard like most of Long Island. Dan and Devin both worked with me to pick out the perfect colors and showed me how to best utilize the space I have. With landscaping, they were able to give me more privacy and brighten up my entire yard with beautiful perennials. The hot tub area they created with an outdoor television and pergola will definitely be used all year round. The outdoor BBQ and bar area will be the highlight of my outdoor parties! My favorite touch though was the beautiful pool and surrounding stone with an automatic pool cover which means I don't have to worry about my pups accidentally falling in when I'm not outside with them. Based on Yelp reviews we then called Devin from Flawless Masonry & Landscape who told us a circular driveway was absolutely doable! We were so impressed with Devin's design skills (including clear scaled digitized plans) and experience that we hired him on the spot. Plus Flawless's pricing was lower than other quotes we got. Icing on the cake. Then the pandemic hit so the job was delayed (NY orders), but Flawless came through after re-opening and did a superb job for us. The new driveway is both beautiful and functional, even our crabby neighbors like it! It was a big job but Flawless's skilled and friendly crew managed to finish in a week. Here are the lowlights of my experience with Matt: --Communication was a nightmare. He responded to me while he was doing the job (a plus!) but he was more interested in complimenting his own work, man-splaining, and cracking corny jokes than he was in listening my concerns. Whenever there was a problem, he blamed someone else. ---Cost was very high. This is my fault , as I should have gotten more estimates. --The work was below average. For example, Matt installed a bifold door. He asked if I wanted it painted and when I asked if it would need to be painted, he said it was up to me. I opted to leave it unpainted but had no idea that Matt would leave pencil marks and scuffs all over it. By that time, I was so tired of interacting with him that I decided to paint it myself. Less than three months later, the door came off the track and the pin that holds it in place will not go back in. I've been trying to get him to come back to fix the door (as per his warranty) for two weeks. Ha! Who am I kidding? I could go on but you get the drift. Save yourself some money and headaches and find someone else.
