After reading all the reviews for many different fence companies on Long Island I decided on Precision.   I met with Mike.   He explained everything in detail about the quality of the materials and the importance of a good vinyl fence for longevity.   I had no idea they were different and after some research I found he was spot on about everything.   The installation went off without one hiccup.   The Guys showed up early and on the day they said.   They were very polite and went over everything with me prior to putting any fence in the ground.   After that the fence went up so fast.   I watched them and they worked methodically. They arrived as promised, actually 15 minutes early. 2 young men greeted us with a smile. They worked so hard for many hours without one complaint. Looking at the posted pictures you can see my backyard would be difficult to navigate while installing a fence. Many full grown evergreens, shrubs and flowers. They had to trim many unruly branches. Clean up was meticulous. Staff did an amazing job under not so pleasant conditions. I feel awful that we forgot the young mens names from 3 months ago but we rewarded them with drinks, lunch and an extra $100 tip. They were so thank you. I hired Precision Fence to do some work on my property - continuation of an existing stockade perimeter fence and custom fabrication of an aluminum gate. They arrived within a week to install the stockade fence and with the exception of a few popped panels (normal - which I tacked back in myself) the job was done perfectly. The gate installation didn't go as smoothly. Precision Fence uses a company in NJ for their custom/catalog work and it took them forever for the segments to be fabricated (something like a month and a half). Again, not PF's fault, but I wasn't really expecting such a long wait and I don't believe that was communicated when I put my down payment in. So be prepared if you pick something from a catalogue, there may be a really long wait for it to be made. When the fence finally arrived, the segments were sloppily welded and for some reason these weird structural braces were tack welded to the back of the fence! No one said anything about that and after going through a catalogue that was longer than a CVS receipt with hundreds of slightly different fences that all looked the same to me, I was blown away that they would add such an ugly looking brace to such a specific design chosen out of hundreds. This is where Precision Fence shines and why I would use them going forward for any of my builds. The owner was very receptive to the situation and came out to see the gates himself. He agreed the welds looked like garbage and that the braces (which were tack welded on without a jig and crooked!) looked terrible. He promptly contacted his fab company and had them re-do it. The second product we received was miles ahead of the first and I'm so glad I didn't just accept the poorly fabricated product. They are true gentlemen at PF and handled a problem like pros. Rest easy, if you give the job to PF they will either nail it the first time or make sure it's done right. See before/after shots below. read more

Not many companies would have helped a guy walking in from the street carrying a broken post that he needed duplicated to fix a 5 year old gate. Wind slammed my gate so hard, the stile (post) part of the gate cracked at the latch. --see pic. A contractor -(now out of business) installed the gate 5 years ago. I had no idea who the manufacturer was. So I walked into Precision's office with hardly any hope and asked if there was any chance someone could duplicate this post in length, notch template and color. Not only did they make an attempt on the spot, they custom made a perfect replica while I waited and just charged the price of a post. This is the kind of local business that we've been missing for so long. It's a good old fashioned friendly neighborhood business not trying to upsell all the time when the remedy is a simple repair. Excellent service from Precision Fence. We had an iron fence installed around our pool and Tim was the lead guy on the job. Truly can't say enough about their courtesy and professionalism throughout the installation process. He walked ya through the whole process and where he would lay the fence down. He even helped us relocate two bushes that were in the fence path! The whole thing went pretty quickly, also. After we approved the fence and signed the contract the fence was ordered (about a week) and installed within one day. With a two year old it was a must have in our new house! When Dan came for the estimate he had lots of information on what we need to do to prepare: survey, company to get points where natural gas enters to avoid risk. Very prepared and thorough 2. Lots of great reviews Execution was excellent! Dan remained available to us and the team who installed was incredible. They said one day and they delivered! One note is to make sure you know if you are ok for them to leave the dirt they take up to put in the posts or have it removed as you sign the contract.
