    Melted garlic cheese appetizer

What a fantastic find in Fátima on a Sunday night. Town seemed like there was not a lot open on a Sunday night so we were happy we found the Apollo for dinner. After being seated we were greeted by our waiter who went over some of their signature dishes. He recommended the garlic cheese bowl with bread as an appetizer. This was delicious. My wife and I ended up eating the cheese with our forks and the bread bowl. For dinner my wife got the boneless sea bass on mashed cauliflower. She thought it was the best fish she ate in Portugal. I had the grilled black pork slices with migas, or beans and rice. Tasted just like our red beans and rice in the states. I loved the pork. The pigs only eat acorns so it had a nice taste. My wife loved the wine options because she could get a half bottle rather than a full bottle. We sat in the very back and were near all of the food and drink prep action. The place is very professionally run restaurant.

While visiting Fatima we we to the Apollo Cafe and ate a great meal. We started with the Garlic Bread which was good. Then I ordered the Shrimp rice and my wife had the Bolognese Spaghetti. My shrimp was great actually it was so good my wife offered to assist in eating it. I don't think she enjoyed her meal as much. My sister ordered the Seafood Linguini which she enjoyed and my brother in law had steak which looked good but he said was tough. We also ordered water for the table. The price was fair for what we had. Overall it was a good place to eat while in Fatima.

This has been our favorite go to restaurant during our 2 times in Fatima, Portugal. 1st experience was back in April 2022 - our nightly go to after each rosary at the sanctuary. I remember ordering the seafood linguine almost every night - that's how you'll know it's good. They are open till 12 midnight thus catering to late eaters like us. 2nd experience was this September 2024. A whole lot has improved since 2022. More dishes were added on their menu and that included the Tomahawk 28 day aged cooked in medium with sea salt on the side for only €56. They are located a good 4 minute walk from the Sanctuary in the middle of the bustling Fatima city center. Definitely a must try when in Fatima

We really enjoyed our time at the Apollo. Although the service was a little on the slow side, the food came out and was very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a good meal in Fatima.

Lovely spot just a few steps away from the Fatima site. Delicious food. Service is a little slow but what would one expect, really? Cockles were fabulous - the tomato sauce blended perfectly with them and the onions. Lovely. The garlic bread was more of a garlic bacon cheese bread bowl and was fabulous.

While visiting Fatima this week, Apollo's Cafe was recommended by our Tour guide (Sebastian). We started out with it bread and garlic with cheese. My sister ordered a steak and I had the shrimp salad and french fries from the appetizer to the main course. The service and food was phenomenal. They offered to show us the dessert tray, and had to have a piece of apple pie. The desserts are all made in house and I walked away. They were very happy customer! Thank you to all the staff members for making this a memorable experience !

Came past while walking around the hotel area. I was drawn in by all of the people outside seemingly enjoying their time and food. We walked over to look at their gelato- we were convinced it was the real deal! Then we looked at the menu- great pricing and a good selection of food as well! We called another traveler and decided to meet up and eat here. We ordered pasta carbonara and a kebab platter. Both were delicious!!!! Gelato was bomb as well!! If you're in Fatima- do yourself a favor and eat here!

One of the great reasons to visit Portugal is the food, and Apollo is no exception. We ordered: garlic bread, olives, a tuna starter, and sea bass (I forgot to take the picture). Service: 10/10. Ruben was our charming waiter and recommended great wine pairings. Food 10/10. Note for the Vegetarians: the garlic bread had pieces of ham in it. I had such a wonderful time, and I promise you will too.

This was definitely one of the best restaurants we went to during our Portugal trip. We came here for lunch when we arrived in Fatima, we parked nearby and walked over. The decor inside was nice and cozy, and the servers were very friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. We had the garlic bread which was delicious with cheese and bits of bacon (I think), seafood linguine, chef linguine (basically seafood linguine with mushroom sauce), and seafood rice for 2 people. Everything was very delicious, especially the seafood rice. The chef linguine mushroom sauce was also very light but flavorful, and not too heavy like some pasta dishes in the U.S. We also had the strawberry cheesecake at the end which was tart and tasty. Everything was also very reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend this restaurant in Fatima!

Absolutely delicious and exceptional service. The food was so fresh and it does take a while to get there but it's absolutely worth every single bite. We will definitely be coming back. The servers were extremely professional , honest and caring. We loved it!

Apollo may be the few restaurant that open at night during my visit Europe at Fátima area. Thanks to the previous yelper posting, this restaurant is prospect for my visit. The restaurant interior deco has some local decorative tile pattern on the wall. My wife like it. It is market restaurant type with ice cream at the front. We started with the seafood salad. I feel this salad has imitation crab meat not really qualify as seafood salad. The pork bun we order basically is a street food for quick and easy. But I do like the grilled shrimp. They butterfly the shrimp and grilled. This dish is my favorite. Since the shrimp is small. Butterfly make thing difficult to pick up the meat. Service is average for this restaurant. But they have one dish to share for two at 68 euro with all kind seafood. We did not get that because we don't like to eat much that day.

Have seafood if you eat here! The Clams were fabulous! Service was great. Busy and noisy, but perfect for what we wanted.

This is the only restaurant in Portugal that asked for a tip. Afterwards I realized they ripped me off because VAT was included in my meal price. Don't fall for the tip is not included, it might be because I am American. My server was on the grumpy side and never once smiled, but I think that is his personality, he smiled for no one. Food: I ordered the pasta with chile, calamari, and shrimp. It was a unique pasta with garlic and tiny amounts of ginger, that played very well and there was like 2 chile rings and then calamari and shrimp. The pasta was cooked perfectly and right amount of sauce that just played well together. The calamari was cooked to perfection as was the shrimp but a few were not cleaned properly but everything tasted good. The chile did have a tiny bite so somebody might think this is spicy but was not for me, finally something with flavor. I did not eat all the pasta because then I ordered the octopus. The octopus was not cleaned properly but the texture was spot on and the taste was great, I added some of my own hot sauce on the side to give it some kick. Odd to have a boiled egg with the octopus, good taste but the green ring indicates the egg was overcooked. Everything was temperature hot and served fairly quickly. WiFi available. I should have just ordered the pasta because that was fantastic! The octopus was okay but took some work to clean. The pasta gives this place a 5. Service and tip with VAT already included would drop to 2. The octopus is 3 stars. But the pasta was the best meal thus far in Portugal.

Service was good but it was the only restaurant I was asked if I want to leave an additional tip, hence place for tourist. There's no need to leave a tip in Europe.
