I found Appalachian on yelp while looking for a mobile notary to do our refi. I spoke with David, the owner. He was super nice and scheduled our appointment. They are a 24/7 service, so they can fit into your schedule. We required a Saturday due to our work schedules. At the last minute, our underwriting wasn't going to be completed on time. I called David, he completely understood and rescheduled us for the following Saturday at 3:30 pm. Finding out Friday my husband had to work OT on Saturday, I had to reschedule for 5:00 pm. David's response, "No problem, if anything changes, let me know." David showed up right on time and called 10 minutes prior to arrival. He was super knowledgeable on the paperwork. He was also incredibly personable. Our experience was so positive, we made it a point to give our lender his card for others who may be in a similar situation. I support small businesses, especially this veteran owned one. Any notary needs we may have will go through Appalachian for sure! Thank you David! read more
