I would recommend Dr Brashear. I had a hip replacement last year and getting along really well. No more pain.

The doctors and medical staff at the facility are great. I have been treated at this location and…read morewas taken care of well by the medical staff. If there was a way just to review the admin staff, I'd give them negative stars. God, Family, Country. Apparently not at Watagua Orthopedics though. Their motto is work first. I know someone that works at Watagua Orthopedics. She loves her job and she loves the people she works with. She put in a time off request for a personal matter that will take her out of state for 2 weeks. She only has 1 week of PTO. The company handbook states that management can approve the remaining unpaid time off requested "at their discretion". They have denied the time off. Imagine. Your work says NO, you cant take time off. It doesnt matter that the request was made 6 weeks prior to the time off. She has received disciplinary action in the form of a write up for job abandonment already even though the time off hasn't yet been taken. She has been told that at the expiration of the pto available, she will be terminated. She fought hard to keep her job but the lead people that have "the discretion " have decided they would rather play hard ball. Specifically BRENT and JOJO. It doesnt matter that in 18 months of employment she has only called out one time. It doesnt matter that she's a dedicated employee that often stays late when needed. She reported that she was being required to do things outside her scope of practice at the beginning of April of this year. Releasing test results, required to do the job description of multiple positions, etc. Since reporting this, she has been retaliated against by the administration- Specifically Brent. When a complaint for harassment amd retaliation was filed, administration told her "that is your perception" and dismissed her complaint. Isn't that the whole point of a harrassment claim- your perception? Respectfully, this is not how you treat your employees. No wonder they go thru staffing like toilet paper. Because they treat them like poop they scrape off their shoe.

The doctors-in-training were nice. Liked the acupuncture. However the front staff is ignorant,…read moreunprofessional and rude. I called with extremely high blood pressure twice. Never got a call back. Finally reached them, and they claimed they called, and that I had missed the appointment. I said that perhaps they dialed the wrong # and I would not have missed anything as I was very concerned. Admission, I did get pissed. I was with my Mom at a PT rehab facility who took my BP and they sent me immediately to the ER. Subsequently, ETSU "discharged" me as a patient. They said that I was rude, and that they discharged me based on what the front girl said happened, that care starts with the front office staff. A TEENAGER. DO NOT GO HERE. SERIOUSLY

Head injury? Go elsewhere…read more 3 months after admission to ETSU Family Medicine Associates and I'm still experiencing symptoms. Do they seem to care? Absolutely not! I've called, left messages, requested callbacks, referrals, etc and they've gone completely silent. Rather than admitting the case was too big for their britches, they'd rather continue to string me along prescribing various medications which have exacerbated the symptoms. Their attempt at ETSU making a referral was to a neurologist who, and here's the kicker, doesn't handle head trauma cases! If you're going to give this group a chance, make sure your medical malpractice/negligence lawyer is on speed dial.
