The car was towed to Bakersfield to this shop, as it was one of the few listed as open on Sunday. I needed to get back home that day, so I showed up at 9am on Sunday morning and Joe was there ready to help! Lupe and Joe are amazing people, and while they were helping another customer with a serious clutch issue, they worked me in, diagnosed the issue (was electrical - turned out to be a failed alternator) gave me a super great deal, picked up the parts, walked me through the repair process, and I was back on the road right after lunch. I'm an engineer and work on my own cars, and really appreciate how patient Joe was with my questions, he even taught me things so I knew how to better diagnose electrical issues in the future. After the truck was assigned I called to ask if I could ride in the cab with my dog, and was told yes. The driver arrived within the assigned window. Quickly loaded and tied down my car. Was polite and friendly. Happy to take me and my dog in the cab. We talked about dogs the whole way which made me feel safe and at ease in an otherwise stressful situation.
