I originally had an appointment at the Speedy Auto Glass in Whitby to repair a large crack in my windshield. When I showed up for my appointment, they had lost my booking, even though I called that same morning to confirm my appointment. They had not ordered the windshield, and had nothing in stock. I called Apple Auto Glass in Pickering, it was the owner (Tony) that picked up the phone. He was extremely sympathetic, and made time for me to come in straight away to take a look at the crack. I showed up within 20 mins, he said they could do the work that afternoon and had my vehicle done by 5pm the same day. Tony was amazing, so helpful, AND his pricing was significantly cheaper than Speedy Glass. Would recommend Tony and this specific Apple Auto Glass to anyone. read more

I would give it a zero star rating if I could. I had a quote and appointment time. Upon arriving they had no appointment booked. It took the technician 15 minutes to speak to me. Looking at my vehicle he told me the glass would be a lot more than quoted, if he put in aftermarket glass I could have the vehicle ready by 5. I was there for my appointment for 10! I left wondering how businesses in this climate can afford to lose customers. I do not recommend using this company. read more

The overwhelming positive reviews spoke volumes and I did not regret my decision. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Apple Auto Glass for doing a remarkable job replacing my windshield(badly leaking) and matching colour paint due to rust perforation. My first interaction via phone call was with Vasken and he made me feel comfortable answering all my queries in a very professional manner. Not complaining about their work whatsoever as from what I see they have done an excellent job. My complaint is in their practices. My girlfriend has had two windshields replaced over the past year at autoglassoshawa.ca. and they paid her deductible both times. I made a terrible assumption in that this company would do the same thing as they are one of the major windshield replacement companies out there. Nothing was said to me when I made my appointment or when I brought my car in. They were done in just over an hour, phoned me and when I went in they asked how I was going to pay my deductible. I was stupidly shocked and downright pissed off ( at myself and them as I think they should let their clients know that they do not cover it anymore - they have a sign off to the side that I didn't even notice until they pointed it out). I told them I thought that was a shady practice and they said don't call them that as they could call me clueless. Both I guess are true. So, if like me the last time you had a windshield replaced and they covered the deductible know they will not anymore (supposedly for the past three years). Try autoglassoshawa.ca as the 5-10 dollars in extra gas money could save you a bunch on your deductible. Don't make the same mistake I did as these gentlemen will just point to a little sign off in the corner after the fact. read more

Got a quote from them and made an appointment to get my windshield replaced. The service and workmanship was nothing less than stellar. They were bang on with their quote and no hidden surprises. They were upfront, honest, thorough not to mention extremely friendly. They take pride in what they do and it showes! It's a family run franchise business with Tony at the helm. Our car was broken into the Saturday before Christmas and my purse stolen. I was obviously very upset and really didn't know which way to turn. I called Apple Auto Glass in Pickering and within seconds the gentleman on the phone had all the information on the broken window and was looking to see if he had one in stock. He said he didn't but would check with his warehouse and call me right back. True to his word, he called me back within a minute and asked that we bring the car right away and he would look after it. They were closing at 12:30 p.m. for the holidays and this was shortly before 10 a.m. They replaced the window, vacuumed away all the evidence of this most upsetting incident AND...sent my husband home with a bottle of wine! I'm in customer service and certainly appreciate the little things that make a difference in people's lives. I would highly recommend this business...and already have!! read more
