It is a perfectly fine mall, albeit nothing too special. It is better than francis Scott key and York galleria mall, but nothing like park city. The biggest thing is that this mall has an older, vintage feel to it, and it makes it appear dated. Doesn't make it that exciting to visit. Has your stores somewhat standard in malls: Hot topic, Spencers, JCPenney, plus American eagle. It also has one of the last fye's around my "area", a belk, and an AMC theater. That said, it isn't a big mall, and keep in mind Simon owns it(as someone who lives in the state that has Arundel mills). Food court has a few recognizable options: Chick fil-a and charley's. I went for the first time yesterday with my grandmother, and I will say it isn't bad for the area, but if you are coming outta state, I will say you can go to better malls. Pro: big parking lot, clean environment, food court. Con: none. Decent size mall with a big parking lot so no issue there. I would say that this mall is comparable to the lake forest mall in Gaithersburg, Maryland. It has a variety of stores and more store surrounding the mall on the outside. Food court stores were decent but nothing to knock your pants off. The environment is clean. All in all a decent place to stop by and look around. read more

It's been some time since here. Not too surprising, but their anchor restaurant has left the premises. Belk is a crummy department store. The same goes for JC Penny's, and this one is among the worst. The only halfway decent store is Mens Warehouse. Here you will find good deals. Also it's pretty well organized, along with excellent staff. Only one bathroom in this mall is ridiculous. It's by the food court, which is below average. I don't think this mall, will be around much longer. Yes people are returning post covid, but I doubt that'll matter. The few chairs they have to relax in are cheap, and the area has flourished with standalone stores and the like. If you want to see what a mall looked like in the 90's, this could be your cup of tea. read more

I've been to this mall I can't tell you how many times it's lost a lot of popularity after SEARS closed but isn't every mall going to rot. I get most of my clothes here at men's warehouse and such. The lady's working behind the counter at the Belk you CAN NOT understand what they are saying but they can't help it but there may be some communication problems. I am currently recovering from ankle surgery, so I am on crutches and have a big boot on that leg. I wanted to visit the mall, but was hoping not to have to walk it all. The Mall Office is closed on weekends, in fact, it's only open M-F 9 to 5. It is the only place in the mall that lends wheelchairs, so it being closed Saturday (3 weeks until Xmas) was a true hardship. I barely bought anything because it's exhausting to walk on crutches, so I couldn't manage more than 1/3 of the mall. So, I suffered, the stores didn't sell me anything so they suffered. This is so easily remedied, and yet they seem not to care. They also didn't have Xmas music playing and next to no decorations. My Christmas spirit now sucks. read more

Basically, this mall is terrible! Not enough choices in the food court and the restrooms (at least the ladies) is always a mess. This is a smaller sized mall but the smaller size means that they're not dealing with nearly as many empty spaces as most. They are anchored by Sears and JC Penney and Belk's with the chain stores that are normal for malls - Aeropostale, Claire's, Fye, Lids and such. The food court offers Asian, cheesesteaks and pizza. There is also a movie theater attached but it has a separate entrance. It is a Simon-operated mall, so your Simon gift cards will work here. They also have free wifi with registration. Plenty of parking. The mall is up against I-81 so I managed to go the wrong way when leaving. You'll want to exit to the North for the best exit - if you can see the highway, go to the left. read more

...the arcade here totally blows...every change machine is inoperable..so you have to go to another business to get change...and then to add insult to injury, both pinball machines swallowed our quarters and didn't work AND didn't return our quarters...so we shifted gears and tried to use another game and that machine ate our quarters and delivered nothing....total inoperable shitshow...steer clear of this disaster..."Fun City" Arcade should be called Shitshow Central.... read more

My old mall didn't have chick fil a. Although this mall needs ann upgrade. Maybe if it was in a different color scheme and a bit bigger people might seem to enjoy it. For me, this is a place to avoid unless I'm desperate for a place to go. Passing through town, and staying in Winchester for the night, I needed to kill some time, so my bride and I decided to see what was going on at the Mall after we had some dinner. Okay... we made a mistake. The Mall was not a decent place to go or to hang out. It was dead, appeared to be run down and really lacks any kind of character. For the locals, it appears to be just a place to drop off the teens and come back later to get them. We found our time better spent back in the hotel room watching some TV. read more

I was having a great day until my mother told me about her experience at jcpenny. A women named Jenna who is supposedly the "manager" harassed my mother by yelling at her while my mother was rightfully in line. She was very rude and clearly targeted my mother because she is hispanic, I say this because she was laughing in my mothers face with another customer. I guess they assumed she knew no english. It was very rude and there were many other witnesses, I can't believe that the "manager" of an establishment that's supposed to be helpful is yelling at paying customers. I wish I could rate below one star. This act of blatant racism has me very shocked. read more

This isn't a very good mall. What little interesting stores there are, it doesn't matter because everything is overpriced. The food court is the most exciting part of the mall. Chick-fil-a, three or four Asian restaurants, and a really tasty gelato place. Then again, the food court shouldn't be the only decent thing about a mall. Unless you're going to see a movie at the solid AMC 12, or are a 13 year-old being dropped off so you can hang out with your friends, I can't see why you'd want to be here. read more

Great mall! Easy access right off I-81. Very clean, friendly and well lit. Plenty of parking spaces. The stores are all nice and up to date. The mall is super clean and all the employees seem very happy and friendly. I really enjoyed shopping here with my daughter. We were also able to find some great deals so we will be back to shop again! It's not a high priced mall. The stores directly surrounding the mall are nice also. It would be fantastic if this was a two story mall or a galleria! But even as it stands it is a very nice and clean mall to shop in. We were not able to try out the food court as we had just eaten but it was very busy and people looked very pleased. I also noticed a Chick fil A! Can't wait to return! read more

Nice mall here. I think it's a bit on the small side but it's just that Winchester has grown so much over the years. To me, I don't see anything to get the younger crowd's attention. Yeah, Hot Topic's there but this place just didn't give off the cool, "I want to spend my money", vibe. Smallest and saddest mall I have ever been in. I came here for a job interview, I had to meet the district manager of certain store at this mall. So, I drove an hour and 15 minutes to Apple Blossom excited for the interview and for some shopping afterwards... There are literally NO STORES AT THIS MALL. ZERO. ZIP. NADA. I was so disappointed. From what I can remember there was an Aeropostale, JCPenny, (I think) I honestly do not remember too clearly... There weren't any big stores, trust me. Rating: 3.5 stars Decent and newly renovated mall. The place is clean and is well decorated for the upcoming holiday. It also has good shops here (ones that I would go to anyways) including JC Penny, Sears, New York Company, Charlotte Russe, Bath and Body Works, etc. It isn't the best mall I've been to but definitely not as bad as the older reviews have said (albeit theirs was before the renovation). This is the closest mall to my sister's house so I took my neice, nephew and my own kids shopping here yesterday. It's been a while since I've been and it seems much cleaner and nicer than I remember. While it's not huge, it is does seem to have many of the stores I would typically hope for in a mall, and then some. There were actually a couple stores I hadn't heard of that sold some really cool stuff, like one that had a ton of sports paraphernelia. The kids were able to find some things they loved there. The best part was it wasn't that busy, even just 2 days after Christmas. There were people there, it certainly wasn't a ghost town or anything, but it seemed so pleasant compared to recent trips to the Mall in Loudoun. I didn't even mind letting the tween/teens go off on their own since it seemed they would be easy to find again. read more

Apple Blossom Mall may be small, but the size of many of the stores makes up for that. I'm from Alexandria, so I decided to visit this mall with my parents while in Winchester. I enjoyed shopping there; I shopped at Charlotte Russe, Rue 21 (which closed down in my local mall), Hot Topic, and FYE. The stores were more organized than I'm use to seeing, as I was able to find things I'm unable to find in some of my local stores. If I were to visit Winchester in the future, I'd definitely come back to shop at Apple Blossom Mall. read more

The mall is okay. I really like some stores but I wish they could upgrade the mall. We need more inside stores like forever 21, Macy, etc.

This is a small-town mall in an area that is rapidly becoming larger. On weekends, the mall is adequately busy, and on weekdays, it's practically a ghost town. There's a play area for children (and surprisingly enough, a kids club), a smallish food court, a Lens Crafters (with an excellent doctor, I might add) a theater, a nail place, a Regis - the stuff every mall has. Definitely the smallest mall I have been in which contributes to my 3 star rating. Another thing contributing to only 3 stars is the fact that the already small food court has chick-fil-a, Charley's (great addition!), some kabob place, pizza, nori Japan, and two other Chinese places! Do THAT many people actually each Chinese to need 3 in one food court? Ew. I wish there were more variety. Other than that, the place is a lot nicer since being renovated. The employees that work in the food court cleaning not only do an excellent job but they are actually friendly! It can't be a very fun job but you wouldn't know it even if they don't particularly like it. They are very nice and friendly. Pretty nice mall I think for not being in a huge city. Has everything you need which usually is JC Penny and Bath and body works. Victorias Secret too :) . I think the food choices are good and the new theater is really really really nice. Very high on popcorn prices though. The only negative I can say about this mall and they might be gone by now is that they always had those nail and lotion people that would chase you down to sell you their crap. Okay, here's the thing about the Apple Blossom Mall. When I first went to it, which was like 2006-2010, it was completely dirty, locals that would scare new people, but okay shops. One thing they had was like a cooking shop that really had everything a person needs. Sad that's gone. Enter 2015-2016. It was bought by Simon malls, at some point, which is a massive chain of malls. Before they had little country-like shops, but now they have big names. Hot Topic, Best Buy, etc. It's amazing how far it has come, and it still has the arcade, something I remember very well and loved very much. I only recently moved to the area, but I used to go to the Apple Blossom Mall a lot. It's gotten much better. This must be said for all of Winchester. Winchester used to be a small town, with almost no restaurant businesses, and left to the locals who didn't do much with it. Then, at some point, it got a revival, a renaissance of sorts, and now it's a thriving and growing economy that has cheaper real estate than the neighboring richie Loudoun County. With all this, why is it only 4 stars? It's not the best, but no place is. It feels a lot better, newer, fresher than it did, and young people are all over it, but it's just not a mall to me. What does that mean? I just don't like malls, and the selection is not the best, but it's frightfully better than before. All in all, if you like malls, you can wander in it for a little while, maybe play in the arcade, who knows! The future of it looks bright, and that's what counts. read more

This is a smaller mall, its nothing big compared to all the others in drivable distance like Harrisonburg, Manassas, or Fair Oaks. Its essentially two hallways with a food court to make a Y shape, and the major stores are Belk, JCPenny, and Sears. It has many stores catered to teenagers, especially girls, and a few stores for adults. Consists of general mall stores without many frills or extras. Its not very crowded, but it does have a 6-screen movie theater which is somewhat old. The whole mall isn't the newest, but nothing sold in the mall is low-quality. All-in-all, for a mall experience without the crowds Apple Blossom Mall is not a bad place. read more
