So when we needed new roofing, siding, gutters, gutter covers, facia and soffits I obtained several quotes. Erik didn't hesitate to come out to Farmington and quote the project. We had some "slick" salespeople and we had a guy that wouldn't give me a quote (he really didn't like women was my opinion) and would only deal with the insurance company. Erik was professional, honest and not "slick." The price was fair. My test is always the "warm and fuzzies." After a few meetings with Erik, he had my business. Then came the problems. Every color combo for all of the above items had items out of stock, discontinued or something. Erik made a lot of phone calls and several vendor trips. I have no idea how many combos we went through - probably 15 or so. Finally we found a combo that could be put together. YEAH!!!! Erik was patient through all of the "I hate neutrals" moments and several trips of holding colors against the house in different light. Roof install went well and then we had to wait 2 weeks for the siding. The siding installation was completed and they came back and fixed a couple of small items and we were done before Thanksgiving. Erik was around almost daily and even picked up extra FOD on his own. They installed our new lights and Ring cams too. Erik was easily reachable and kept on top of the project and kept me up to date. Very impressed. They were within $7 of the original quote (I think permit fees changed). Very happy and thankful that I selected Erik and Roofs R Us.

We had a leak and they moved their schedule around to accommodate our project. It was amazing how efficient and professional the crew was. Eric was onsite the majority of the day and the final checklist and sign off of everything was very assuring. The new gutters were installed within a week of the roof being completed. What was very impressive to me was that the sales rep for Zups took the time to stop by after and ask if we had any questions or see if there was anything they could have done better. Zups was more personable than the other bids we got also. They laid out in full detail what happens when they redo the roof and have a contract that laid out all the pricing for what they would do. The final walk through was great also. I got a warranty sheet and final check list from Eric and he walked thru the entire project and explained what happened and what they did to my roof. I had a real piece of mind. One last thing, there were a few issues with my previous roof and I was having leaks and had some rotted trim boards. I hired Clear Choice Restoration for an insurance claim that included replacing the siding. The…read morehouse had two layers of siding, the inner layer was original clapboard and lead-based paint. The crew failed to follow lead paint remediation practices and contaminated my entire yard with lead-based paint chips. They came out twice to "clean up" the lead paint - both times failed to reasonably clean up the lead paint chips. They then claim another contractor caused the lead paint contamination, quit the job without notice, and refuse to file a claim with their insurance company to cover the cost of cleaning up the lead paint chips they failed to contain. IMO, they are trying to get out of their responsibility to clean up the lead contamination. If you have a house that may have lead-based paint, I think you should avoid Clear Choice Restoration at all costs.
