MILITARY PERSONNEL BEWARE I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. Several of my belongings were damaged during the move, and items also went missing. When I brought these issues to management's attention, the response was extremely unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility or working toward a resolution, management was rude, dismissive, and consistently made excuses--even when presented with clear proof. Customer service was nonexistent, accountability was avoided, and the situation was handled with a level of incompetence that was honestly shocking for a company in this line of work. Maria, Brianna, Linda, Anthony, Tristan, and Joe were all wonderful. They were friendly, trustworthy, careful, respectful, professional, and efficient. They moved their trucks as needed for our neighbors so they access their parking spots. My husband and I would highly recommend them. They split the move into two days, the first for boxing and packing and the second for loading the boxes and large furniture. They currently move active military members for divorces, separations, and/or PCS but are looking to expand locally in Winters, San Angelo, Abilene, Ballinger, Bradshaw and I'm sure just the entirety of Taylor county. The company was simply not prepared. The people who came to pack didn't bring enough stickers to mark all the boxes. Then the people who came to load didn't bring enough trucks. About two hours before they finished I warned them that they did not have enough space for the items remaining but they assured me that they could fit it all. In the end they could NOT! They offered no solutions for the issue. When I asked questions the crew leader said that he needed the call the office but no one answered. I was then just forced to sell or get rid of the stuff they couldn't fit. Additionally, I had to repeatedly remind them to load small items that they overlooked. Overall it felt like chaos and that's now how you want your move to be. The people were nice but that's simply not enough. read more

So I have to warn anybody with an up coming move scheduled. The Air Force hired Apple Movers to come and pack and transport our HHG to Germany and they absolutely trashed our home and belongings. They damaged our walls, banister, stairs, crown molding, baseboards and carpet. They took zero precautionary measures to protect our home during this process. They wanted to transport our couches from Abilene to Winters on top of one another, completely unwrapped on an open air truck bed. I told them no after they had already loaded them this way and damaged them. They came back the next day with cardboard boxes to put them in, in the rain, on an open air truck bed. I again said no. Finally they showed up with boxes and a covered truck to transport them. They marked every piece of our furniture as predamaged when it wasn't. Every last piece on every surface. I feel very lucky we own our home and had just had professional photos and inspections done days before. I at least have documentation of the condition our home was in. Everything was pristine. Every baseboard & wall freshly painted. Every piece of furniture perfect for showing. If you rent or live on base and they will be moving you, take video of all of your belongings. Don't let them write your damage conditions without you there, discussing their notes. You will be asked to sign these documents corroborating preexisting damage, that isn't there, to cover their butts. Finally, we have to sign high value seals for all crates our items were packed in that state "Your signature verifies that this seal was applied in your presence. At delivery verify that this seal has not been broken." They asked us to sign these so they could apply them later at their warehouse, not even remotely in our presence. Don't let them take advantage of you or push you around. We took care of our movers, we have cold beverages and buy them meals everyday. This wasn't a failure on our part to be courteous. This was a failure on Apple Moving in training their personal. They were not provided the adequate tools to do this job correctly. We have been through a few of these moves now and I have never had a company fail to care for our belongs or property on any level like this. I have had things damaged in transport but never have I seen damage occur in my home while I watched over and over again. I have always felt the movers at least attempted to respect my property.
