Played this course for the first time today. What a nice track. This private club is old school,…read moreand I'm fine with that. Modest yet functional pro shop. Walkable but a good walk. The conditions were superb tee to green. Greens rolled true with significant undulations on most. The bunkers were well manicured as were the bent grass fairways. The 100 year old oak trees provided shade as well as helped shape the contours of some of the holes. Overall, a hidden gem, and a course I plan to play again soon.

There were lots of people there and we still didn't have to wait that long to get through the course. There's plenty of seats if you get tired along the journey. I saw a sign where after 7:00 p.m. it's 18 and up. I definitely recommend stopping by and giving this place a try it was only $8.50 a person to play miniature golf. They have gambling machines and also areas where you can practice putting and hitting the ball. Looks like a lot of fun if you're looking for some entertainment come over here and check it out.

Absolutely Terrible!…read more My sister had her wedding reception at Royal Fox in June of 2012. We had high hopes, especially after the tasting and working with Jane. We were extremely disappointed. Here's a rundown of the major problems: 1. They served the wrong main entree - Yep, you read that correctly, they served the wrong food! When we brought it to their attention they told us "the wedding last week didn't want the breaded chicken, so we didn't think you would either." Ummm, what the heck does a wedding a week ago have to do with what my sister ordered? 2. They didn't have champagne at the bar, even though my sister paid extra specifically for it. When we asked the manager on duty where the champagne was we were told that we were lying about paying for it (we weren't and the contract proved that). 3. The room was WAY TOO HOT! Several guests complained about the temperature. When we brought this up, they told us it was because we had too many people in the room; however, we had at least 70 fewer people than their stated maximum. They also brought us to other sections of the club and said "see, the temperature is fine here." Again, what does that have to do with anything? The reception room was hot and they did nothing to resolve the issue at all. Overall, what was going badly was made much worse by the horrible attitude of the staff. They never once apologized and instead were defensive and made excuses for everything. I would never recommend this venue to anyone. As of today, they have not done anything in the way of an apology or compensation for the issues we experienced. The reception could have been great, but instead was frustrating, uncomfortable, and frankly, a little embarrassing. Never again. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Chair lift is good but the smaller runs with rope tows are annoying because they're difficult to get started on and you get held up if someone falls. Rental equipment is easy to get and seems to be in decent shape. Food options aren't great but it's edible. It's about what you'd expect out of a freezer bag. Price is decent but it's hard to say great because it's essentially underwhelming school cafeteria food.

I came back to find they used a much cheaper and flexible shaft and tried to tell me that it would play the same because they shortened it. After hitting 100 balls and confirming it did not hit the same, and I would like the shaft that I paid for, I was yelled around and screamed at to leave and that they will not be giving me the shaft that I paid for. Just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, I confirmed with two seperate golf professionals that the shaft they gave me was not an extra stiff and not close in terms of flex, thickness etc. playing the same.
